"The walk to the canyon visitor center and rim views are an easy walk on a paved path. The room is very nice and even includes a dog crate in a pet friendly room. Parking is easy and plentiful. Great place to stay when visiting Grand Canyon."

Grand Canyon Hotel and Suites

Grand Canyon Hotel and Suites

8/10 Good
"hotel is conveniently located, which is definitely one of its strengths. We arrived late at night and are leaving the following morning, so this was a relatively short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff at check-in were very friendly and welcoming. The A/C worked perfectly throughout the night, with no issues maintaining a comfortable temperature. The interior of the hotel, however, feels somewhat dated and could definitely use a refresh. The colors and décor are very muted and dull, which gives the property a somewhat dark and depressing feel rather than a bright, welcoming atmosphere. Some updated colors, furnishings, and finishes would make a significant difference. Parking was completely full when we arrived, although that is understandable during the busy summer travel season. We did not have enough time during this stay to use or evaluate the pool. Overall, the hotel provided a clean room, good A/C, friendly service, and a convenient location. The biggest opportunity for improvement would be modernizing and brightening the interior."

"This place is nice. Very close to the park, just a short drive and nicer than hotels in the park (although all run by Xanterra). I'd stay here over staying in the park if you have a car."

"One of the more affordable options to stay close to the rim. The lodge has good options for food, gifts and the location is fantastic. Having no air conditioning wasn’t too bad in the rooms as it does get cooler at night."
