Cool old hotel with lots of personality in the heart of Downtown Flagstaff. Staff are great bar is cool. Night club can get loud but totally ignorable. Cannot beat the location and the prices are reasonable.

This hotel is a true architectural gem with a rich history. It needs additional love and care before it can host guests. Bathrooms need to be redone, rooms need better decor that is more true to the period, and less pieced together. floors need attention. The most challenging part, was that it was incredibly noisy until 3am because I was above the bar - request a room AWAY from the bar - people were loud on the street all night. Some sort of delivery woke me again at 4am. This hotel deserves more love and care and a substantial financial investment to bring it back to its former glory.

It is an historic hotel, great location and the staff were very nice, but each stay there is different. Our last visit we were there on a very busy weekend during NAU graduation, so we were placed in a very small room and parking was difficult to find. The upstairs bar & balcony were also closed for a wedding party. (If the balcony is open, it is a wonderful place to enjoy.) Also note there are steep stairs up to your room, no A/C during part of the year and no ceiling fan. The open window was not enough to cool things down. On a prior visit we had a much larger room and it was at a cooler time of year, so you just never know!
