"Fantastic little boutique hotel. Staff were really friendly, couldn’t do enough for you.
We got a room upgrade when we arrived which was amazing. The view was fantastic.
As for the food, wow! Well presented and very tasty. Sadly we couldn’t do the tasting menu as never gave any notice that we wanted it. Wasn’t disappointed though as the normal menu was very good.
The hotel was also dog friendly. A welcome doggy pack was also provided.

"A five day stay to watch The Open Golf championship at Troon. The hotel was not able to provide TV coverage of the golf which was an oversight given the majority of guests were golfers. The hotel also took advantage of the golf to charge a premium for standard rooms. It may be better value to travel in from further afield during championships."

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel on our journey back home in Cheshire from the Highlands. After staying in a campervan it was wonderfully luxurious. We arrived on Sunday at 1330 and were permitted essentially free entry to the Spa until we could check in at 1500, which we were very appreciative of and something the hotel could have rightly charged us for.
