"An excellent and pretty property with everything you could need in the room. The host was exceptional in making us feel welcome and cooking delicious breakfasts and evening meals. We will definitely stay there again next time we’re visiting the showground for the antique fair as it is situated so close to it."

"The White Lion Inn is a gem of a find. Its olde worlde decor is apt for this beautiful building and its cottage garden. Situated in a peaceful setting. Restaurant excellent, had a lovely evening meal. Breakfast very good. Room clean and tidy, has all you need. Lovely old beams."

"The person who greeted us (I think James?) was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. Room felt fresh and had some cool old features. The shower and bed were fantastic. We had a really good pizza and a pint for about £14 each in the lovely gardens (they even put vegan cheese on for me). The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients. All in all it was a great stay and good value for money. We hope to see you again post-festival in 2027, thank you for having us!"
