"Very friendly and helpful owner. The property is old but well maintained and updated. Had a remarkable dinner in the adjacent pub, the Cullen Skink was incredible. Our room faced the road so there was a good amount of noise from trucks in the middle of the night. Other than that, wonderful stay."

You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. If you want a quiet place to go to after a day exploring the Borderlands in Scotland; this is the place. Even if you just want a place to relax and unwind for a few days this is a great place to go.
