Location was good and convenient, but aside of that, room had a really bad smell, conditions of furniture was very bad and poor, crack in doors, and room was infested with roaches. Was offered to be transferred to others units but they were in same conditions, had to ask for room to have pest control done but that didn’t help.

Great old school lodge. Staff was excellent !!!! Breakfast was great !!! The indoor pool and hot tub was even better !!!! The room was spacious and clean. We will definitely be back !!!!

I paid 2x what my daughter paid for the same dates the only difference was she got a single room and I got a double. I went to her room and hers was really nice and mine well let’s just say it was not.

I thought the parking accessibility was great and the walkability of it being so close to downtown. I think including a breakfast and updating the rooms would be a HUGE improvement. It was clean and spacious, but the bedding looked older and there was only one microwave in the lobby. The beds were not terrible, but I think upgrading the spring mattresses would be a big help.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the 3rd shift. Room was more than we expected and very clean. I would definitely recommend it and would be my 1st choice when we go back. Absolutely loved it

Pros: Amazing staff! Great location. Convenient access to transportation. Nice view of the river. Cons: Our room was right next to the elevator and it was very loud, facilities were outdated, no water pressure. Overall, I would stay here again!

Staff was friendly. This is an older hotel and the courtside section is in need of an upgrade. Room we had was very small and was a pet friendly room. It smelled like wet dog. The bathroom was also very small. The staff did try to find us another room, but the one they offered only had Full sized beds vs queens. Outdoor pool was heated.

We loved the pool. There were alot of children in it but it was a family trip. It was open until 11 pm so that was great. The balcony isnt really big enough to sit on, just fyi.

Great Getaway
The stay was good. The people were all friendly and helpful. We got the Queen suite which had plenty of space and the amenities were awesome for what you paid for. Everything in the room was outdated by at least 20 years. Doors and furnature showed signs of being well used and in need of refinishing or repair but still useable. Just don't expect a brand new modern hotel room and you won't be disappointed.

Amazing property, room (so lovely), and hotel staff (friendly and inviting). I went unbeknownst the last weekend of Winterfest but you couldn't tell (noise wise) until you walked downtown. Great walking distance to town as well and everyone was friendly. Definitely will be back !! If you’re ever going to gatlinburg, this is the place to book.
