Staff were all friendly and dinner and breakfast was great

Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed

Booked a short notice overnight stay in one of the upgraded pods. It was very nice with a very nice location. It was really quiet and peaceful. We booked dinner in the restaurant and the staff wee attentive, accomodating and very polite. The food choice wasnt huge but the quality of the food was good. Room we were given when we got there was a twin instead of the double booked. However this was resolved within 5 minutes in a cheerful and polite manner. Mistakes happen but a sign of a good hotel is how things are sorted out. Bar was cheerful with pleasant service. Food adequate and good value. Breakfast was excellent. A bonus was music in the lounge later on. Good for a bop!

An excellent small hotel in a rather grand Victorian house on the main road in Callendar. Easy walk into town. Great base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Stunning scenery. Recommend going to Lock Katrine, it is beautiful. Loch Lomond was best on its east side, the west side is nearest Glasgow and attracts a lot of people in the summer. A cosy cabin decorated beautifully. Everything you’d needle for a night or two away exploring the area.

Wonderful stay! Lovely rooms and comfy beds! Probably the best breakfast we’ve had! Lovely homemade bread, smoothies and yoghurt pots! Hosts were lovely and accommodating! Would highly recommend this B&B

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast.

From the moment we stepped inside the door, we knew we had made the right choice in choosing this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the décor is modern and cosy, and the staff are lovely. Lovely hotel in the heart of Luss village moments from Loch Lomand. The hotel had a lot of character and the menu in the restaurant was far more interesting than most hotels in the highlands. The staff on the desk were helpful. It was well priced for the quality. Breakfast was very nice.

Was curious about Andy Murray's investment in a country hotel. But as I drove up the private road you could see why. It's a lovely secluded residence. It was a relatively quiet night I stayed at with maybe 33-50% occupancy, and I was given a nice upgrade. The fixtures and fittings were extremely high tier, mixed with antique/period pieces. A short but very pleasant stay at the hotel. As I was visiting relatives I didn't use all the hotel facilities but the room was large, quiet and comfortable, albeit a bit dark. Breakfast was excellent as I expected.

Superb luxury hotel .. right on the Loch yet 20 miles or so from Glasgow . Very top end spot yet totally unpretentious . Lots of restaurants and bars , great well appointed room and a common theme of professional staff in all areas of the hotel .
