Nestled along the shores of Lake Garlate, this charming Lombardy town invites visitors to explore the literary Percorso Manzoniano Lecco walking trail. Take the Funivia Piani d'Erna cable car for breathtaking mountain views or spend a peaceful afternoon at nearby Segrino Lake.
Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service.
We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to.
The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating.
We ate in the Michelin* restaurant in the hotel. We booked our room very last minute & so initially they said they couldn’t fit us in...

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable room, we had a lovely view of the river and mountains, the beds and pillows were very comfortable also. There was a fridge in the room, a large flat screen TV, and the shower was good with hot water any time of the day.
The breakfast was amazing with everything and more included, continental but you would not think so with eggs, bacon, sausage cooked meats, cheeses, freshly baked rolls, cereals, not to mention all the pastries and cakes and panacotta...

The residence is around 25–30 minutes above Lecco and offers stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and a freshly cooked breakfast made to order. The online reviews are accurate, and both the hotel and previous guests strongly recommend travelling by car, as taxis can cost €35–45 each way and many firms are reluctant to travel up to the property. The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues. The Jersey Mob

The hotel is well sign posted.
There is an underground garage (7 Euros a day) which has electric charging points. There are free parking spaces nearby but as we needed charges we used the car park
The rooms were well equipped with very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge.
Breakfast was buffet style with hot choices of eggs (boiled & scrambled) and bacon. Cold choices of meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts and pastries.

We chose Bergamo for a break simply because the old town - the Citta Alta - seemed so appealing. It is beautiful. If you are going to visit Bergamo there really isn't much point in choosing a hotel in the lower town - Citta Bassa - as everything you want to see is in the Citta Alta.
This is an excellent hotel, an old building refurbished to a high standard with only 13 rooms. Our room was spacious, and kept spotlessly clean. Staff were helpful. There is no restaurant but the breakfast was...
