"We had a great experience staying at Academia Resort for our short stay in Bergamo. The room was comfortable for what we needed and had a great nights sleep after a long day of walking.
All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. From providing information of where to go for the sights to enjoying a buffet breakfast in the morning, everyone took the time to make sure we were ok.
The location was well placed to enjoy both Citta Alta as well as Citta Bassa.
We'll have no hesitation in...

"Great choice for family travelers. Location is calm and cost, a bit far from Milan downtown but car moving in and out is very smooth.
Highly recommend"

"This is a modern apartment built for I presume a corporate traveler who has business with Fassi which is adjacent. It's within a short walk to the tram to Bergamo which is very convenient. What the apartment lacks is "character." It's a modern but sterile environment which is somewhat out of character with Italy. On the other hand, everything works, and it's squeaky clean. And, the parking is the easiest and most spacious we experimented in a week of driving from Rome to the Adriatic to...

Set on the banks of Lake di Annone this superb hotel was just what we needed. Quiet, exclusive & with amazing service.
We had a signature suite, so we had a hot tub with a huge wrap around balcony. Our super king size bed overlooked the lake with double aspect windows, which was wonderful to wake up to.
The staff were very friendly, helpful & accommodating.
We ate in the Michelin* restaurant in the hotel. We booked our room very last minute & so initially they said they couldn’t fit us in...

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable room, we had a lovely view of the river and mountains, the beds and pillows were very comfortable also. There was a fridge in the room, a large flat screen TV, and the shower was good with hot water any time of the day.
The breakfast was amazing with everything and more included, continental but you would not think so with eggs, bacon, sausage cooked meats, cheeses, freshly baked rolls, cereals, not to mention all the pastries and cakes and panacotta...

The residence is around 25–30 minutes above Lecco and offers stunning scenery, peaceful surroundings, friendly staff, and a freshly cooked breakfast made to order. The online reviews are accurate, and both the hotel and previous guests strongly recommend travelling by car, as taxis can cost €35–45 each way and many firms are reluctant to travel up to the property. Returning after a day exploring the area and watching the sunset from high above was truly relaxing.

Just add a pool and it’s perfection although it already is. Staff was amazing and the room was the best for the price aswell. Could not ask for a better place to have had my proposal

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues. The Jersey Mob

We would like to say a huge thank you to Matteo and team for well and truly exceeding all expectations for our stay. Their welcoming generosity and out of the box facilitation for our Wedding Day was truly appreciated, and we will remember it for the rest of our lives.

Ottimo albergo, solo 10 minuti dal centro di Bergamo e 14 minuti dall'aeoporto. Parcheggio sicuro, camere molto grandi. Aria condizionata ottima. E colazione assolutamente fantastica - formaggi, salmone, brioche, e tantissime altre cose. Ci tornemeremo sicuramente

Very comfortable hotel, close to centre. Friendly efficient service and much better than average hotel breakfast. Rooms are individually furnished. Large bathroom with too complicated shower. Would stay again.

The hotel is well sign posted.
There is an underground garage (7 Euros a day) which has electric charging points. There are free parking spaces nearby but as we needed charges we used the car park
The rooms were well equipped with very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge.
Breakfast was buffet style with hot choices of eggs (boiled & scrambled) and bacon. Cold choices of meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurts and pastries.
There are two restaurants nearby which are...

Great place to stay for a short break. Easy to get the the lakes-Como,Milano & Bergamo. Monza itself is so lovely & laid back. Don't miss the Royal Palace & its grounds right opposite. Minutes on the train to Milan, for a visit and some shopping! Hotel staff are just amazing, nothing is too much trouble. So friendly, great breakfast, would definitely recommend this hotel.

We chose Bergamo for a break simply because the old town - the Citta Alta - seemed so appealing. It is beautiful. If you are going to visit Bergamo there really isn't much point in choosing a hotel in the lower town - Citta Bassa - as everything you want to see is in the Citta Alta.
This is an excellent hotel, an old building refurbished to a high standard with only 13 rooms. Our room was spacious, and kept spotlessly clean. Staff were helpful. There is no restaurant but the breakfast was...
