Excellent accommodations. Friendly responsive staff, answered all our questions. Location of hotel is very close to all major types of transport. Excellent breakfast buffet , this along with the amenities offered provided a comfortable stay
Good value hotel in central Paris. Recently renovated and in good comdition, this hotel is good valienfor money. Rooms are if course small (usual for Paris and any major city in Europe) but clean, modern and functional. Staff friendly and efficient.
It is not often you get help from the hotel when you have made a mistake booking. Eric the hotel manager helped us out, because I had made a mistake on the date of our non refundable reservation and changed it for the day we needed it. Really recommended noce and clean, right in front of th train staitions
This was an excellent hotel. The neighbourhood isn't the greatest but there is nothing they can do about that. The staff are truly lovely. Jan, Habib and Stephanie are friendly without being false or cloying and it seemed could not do enough to make the stay comfortable and pleasant.
I had an incident there, and one of our party was hospitalized. The staff were kind, caring and made me feel as though I was part of the family. Habib packed me a small breakfast to take back to the hotel, made coffee and tea when we finally arrived back. We had to extend our stay by one night and there was no available room at this hotel. No problem, they found me a space across the street.
I have stayed at some very nice hotels, but the service of this staff places it in the top 5 for warmth and kindness.
"Clean modern room. Very poor bathroom condition. "
The room itself was clean, and modern, generally in good condition. However for a twin bed room the bathroom was only cordoned off by a frosted glass panel with sliding door that didn't shut completely. Therefore there was some privacy issues. The bathroom, or specifically the shower, was in very poor condition. It wasn't correctly sealed, therefore flooded the bathroom floor and began to leak into the bedroom. And the shower head did not spray properly it merely leaked from one edge.
Pocket Guide: Gare du Nord Gare du Nord - Gare de L'Est Hotels
This is an area of transit, with two mainline stations and a dozen Métro links. Gare du Nord is the terminus for Eurostar and trains to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The main sights are glass and fan museums and the 17th-century archways of St-Denis and St-Martin. Ethnic shops, markets and restaurants on Boulevard du Strasbourg and Passage Brady ('Little India') and lively cafés along Canal St-Martin make atmospheric diversions.
