While the hotel appears attractive, service and operations (which are the most important aspects of hospitality is poor). Take care not to forget any belongings in the hotel. While I did forget to take my Apple AirPods Pro, the device has the ability to track its location fairly accurately (by passing Bluetooth tokens with other Apple devices, which is a vast network). Unfortunately, I had witnessed in near real-time, the theft of my device. It is likely that a hotel staff member had taken it home with them - I could see where they lived, how they traveled to and from work, and so on. When I alerted the hotel to this matter, and showed them screenshots, they did manage to bring the device back, and the device so far remains in the hotel. Without any apology, the hotel expects payment to cover the shipping costs of the small device back to Canada - a charge of ~ 11 Euro. I have asked them to please pay the small cost, as a gesture of service. However, correspondence has been very slow. It often takes over a week to receive a response. And when they do, they make no apology, and flatly ask for payment to cover the shipping cost before they will agree to send it.
It has been over one month. The device cannot really be used, as it is associated with my Apple ID, and therefore I can see its location and track the user every time they do use it. Please, send me my device back.
