"From the word go lovely to be in spacious atmospheric cottage In fabulous setting great walks on door step , and right by the river tweed .Attention to detail so good everything we needed."

"Perfectly placed for touring the Borders. Lovely apartment, well furnished, all mod cons. Quiet location with stunning view of the hills. "

"This is a well positioned house, just off the high street and right by the river and the new river walk. We couldn't fault it in any way. Spotlessly clean, comfy, small patio area to sit outside, friendly neighbours, easy access to the other border towns. Many thanks."

"Enjoyable holiday. Family liked it. Possibly could do with internet like WI-FI. Phone signal was intermittent and made it hard to search things in the area"

"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! "Margo is a responsive host and helped us with location details, transportation information and ideas for enjoying our stay in Edinburgh. Highly recommend the beautiful cottage and its location. It gave us a break from the busy downtown after long days of travel and seeing the city. The garden is an amazing part of the stay! Minutes away, there were grocery stores and Margo provided a lovely greeting basket that gave us things to enjoy after getting off a long flight. Awesome experience!"

"We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud!"
