"A beautiful property that is well maintained. The view from the balcony in our room was incredible and the property gardens and pool are gorgeous. But the best part of our stay is the wonderful staff. They go out their way to be kind and helpful and we really appreciated all their efforts. They even provided a free olive oil tasting that we greatly enjoyed. It also is worth noting the quality of the food in the restaurant was exceptional. We had a wonderful visit all around."

Top Frigintini Hotel Reviews

Hotel Eremo della Giubiliana

10/10 Excellent

"This place is awesome. We didn't expect to be spending two nights in a historic building with so much character. The meals were excellent and the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately we overlapped with a small bus tour that had the dining hall to themselves one evening, but dinner in the wine cellar was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel."

Hotel Porta Reale

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent location on the Main Street in Noto. Beautiful and clean room. Breakfast excellent choice. Staff very helpful especially with parking. Would have liked tea and coffee in room and also air conditioning difficult to control."

Relais Antica Badia - San Maurizio 1619

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were amazing in helping us with recommendations and the breakfast crew were super hospitable."

New: Wonderful villa with sea view, infinity pool, padel court

8/10 Good

"A very pleasant ressort, nice appartements and good common facilitairs sich as professional kitchen, large common zitting and dining room and beautifull infinity pool"

San Giorgio Palace Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel was beautiful. Everything about it was five-star. We were greeted by the desk clerk who arranged for our luggage to be brought up. The rooms were great and access to Regusa Ilba was easy-breezy. 2 minute walk into the main square. Breakfast was very nice and the outdoor patio was very nice as well. We would highly recommend this hotel and Ragusa Ilba."

Modica Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"clean, comfortable and spacious room, nice terrace with sea view. The beach was well-maintained and the service at the bar was excellent. However, there could be more food options (only a cold sandwich) and the nearest restroom is quite far from the beach. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was quite extensive but the food quality was rather average. Overall, a very pleasant stay and good value for the price."

Itria Palace

10/10 Excellent

"The whole experience was lovely. A genuine welcome and guide to the hotel’s offerings. Delicious breakfast in the historic cellar level. Comfy bed and pillows and ensuite made my stay a delight. Every staff member was top notch! I’d stay here again."

Villa Felicia

10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay at Villa Felicia. Everything was very laid back but still classy. It was a wonderful base for exploring Val di Noto, and a respite after long days out. The staff were very kind, and breakfast was delicious."

Hotel Netum Mare

10/10 Excellent

"Best hotel, best restaurant. Probably the best value for money we had in Sicily! Next time, I’d happily stay here for a whole week. It’s a perfect base for exploring Syracuse, Noto, and the surrounding area. Highly recommended!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Frigintini?

The best area to stay in Frigintini is the town centre, particularly around the main piazza, Piazza Redentore. This area is the heart of Frigintini, offering a genuine taste of local Sicilian life. You'll find a selection of local shops, bakeries, and traditional trattorias within easy walking distance. The streets are generally narrow and winding, characteristic of a historic Sicilian town, and the piazza itself is a focal point for community life, especially in the evenings.Couples seeking a relaxed and authentic Sicilian experience will find the town centre ideal. It's great for enjoying leisurely strolls, sampling local delicacies, and experiencing the evening passeggiata (stroll) with the locals. The proximity to local eateries means you can easily enjoy traditional Sicilian dinners without needing to travel far.For those looking for a quieter stay with easy access to the surrounding countryside, the areas just outside the immediate town centre, particularly towards the Contrada Serramenzana, offer more private villa options.

When is the best time to go to Frigintini?

The best times to visit Frigintini are during the shoulder seasons of April to June and September to October. These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm days and comfortable evenings, ideal for exploring the countryside and enjoying outdoor activities without the intense heat of mid-summer. You'll find the landscape lush and green in spring, while autumn brings the grape harvest and vibrant colours to the vineyards. For those looking to avoid crowds and have a more relaxed experience, late spring (May-June) is particularly appealing. The wildflowers are in bloom, and the main tourist rush hasn't quite started, meaning you can enjoy popular spots like the Modica chocolate shops or the Baroque architecture of Ragusa Ibla with more ease.If you're interested in food and wine experiences, early autumn (September-October) is fantastic. This is prime time for local festivals celebrating the harvest, and you can often find opportunities for wine tastings or participate in olive picking.
