Det är svårt att rekommendera det här hotellet. Det är lite synd för personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma, men rummet var fullt med silverfiskar och det fanns ingen AC så övervåningen i maj månad var mycket värmt hela natten.

Einer der schäbigsten Hotelaufenthalte, die ich je erlebt habe. Das Zimmer hat bereits beim Betreten unangenehm gerochen. Der Fußboden war dreckig und staubig, überall lagen fremde Haare herum – sogar im Bett. Die Bettbezüge hatten teilweise schmutzige Flecken, was absolut inakzeptabel ist. Der Duschkopf war ebenfalls defekt und hat in alle Richtungen gespritzt, sodass nach dem Duschen das komplette Badezimmer unter Wasser stand. Dazu kommt die extreme Hellhörigkeit des Hotels. Jeder einzelne Schritt aus dem Zimmer darüber war deutlich zu hören, ebenso jede Unterhaltung im Treppenhaus. Die ganze Nacht liefen ständig Leute lautstark durch das Treppenhaus. An erholsamen Schlaf war überhaupt nicht zu denken – insgesamt habe ich vielleicht drei Stunden geschlafen. Für den Preis und die offensichtlichen hygienischen Mängel absolut enttäuschend und definitiv keine Empfehlung.

Inexpensive option close to the Zeil

The hotel is in a pretty convenient place for getting places, as it’s pretty close to a transit stop. No A/C in my room and the road noise was too loud to keep the window open, but did get a small (though also loud) floor fan when I asked.

Wohlfühliges Preisleistungsverhältnis !

Da ich Frankfurt und die Ortslage des Hotels Mercator kenne ist diese absolut empfehlenswert. Nach allen Himmelsrichtungen sowohl Einkaufsmöglichen als auch internationale Lokalitäten, Kneipen, Cafes, Bioläden, U-Bahn, Bus, Straßenbahn und rasche Anbindung zur Autobahn. Freundliches Personal. Sehr angenehm empfanden wir das ein Wasserkocher/Gläser/Teebeutel, kleiner Kühlschrank sowie für heiße Tage auch ein Ventilator zum Inventar zählten - sehr aufmerksam insgesamt - ergo: PRIMA Aufenthalt & Service!

The property was clean and tidy. Nothing special or spectacular but had all the necessary amenities. The 10€ breakfast was worth the price as it was plentiful and quality. Room service was Adequate and prompt. Overall, a good experience at a Bargain price.

This hotel has small but clean rooms and is in a good location. It's an easy walk to the Innenstadt area and the river (approx. 25-30 minutes), and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Merianplatz area with cafes and restaurants. There's a Rewe supermarket around the corner to get supplies and there are 2 U-stations also within walking distance. Friendly staff. It's a little small for families but perfect for business/solo travelers and couples.Would stay here again.
