"The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. "The hotel was clean, but could do with refresh in places. Staff were friendly and professional. Although next to busy roads, soundproofing was very efficient and didn't notice the traffic. My wife found the bed a bit hard, I was fine, but it did make a lot of noise, even when just sitting on it. The Italian restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent. The location was ideal for our needs, a trip to The Deep and a bit of shopping. If visiting Hull again, I would have no problem booking into Cornmill again."
"I booked the Maze Apartments because it was so close to the venue for the Campfire Country Music Festival and it was spot on. Being only 5 mins walk to the park was great!
When we arrived we got a parking spot in the car park under the Apartments and it was FREE! The lady on reception was nice and friendly and advised us we had been given an upgrade!!
The room was great. Large, spacious with all the amenities you could need. The bathroom was small but clean with a shower, basin and toilet.
The only issue was the fitted sheet on the bed lol.
