Nice small hotel in the middle of the city

Posted 17-Sep-2016
Walking distance of everything you want to see, in a very busy street (though quiet). Good for shipping, restaurants, museums, city market. The manager is great and the service is excellent. Third floor with a view, has a lift so no worries about luggage. Would stay there again.

Eine extrem günstig gelegene "Residenza"

Posted 09-Aug-2016

Florence Honeymoon Spot

Posted 20-Jun-2016 on Hotels
If you are looking for a standard hotel with front desk and the amenities that come with that, then this isn't your place. However, as a boutique hotel where the staff is available and open to you (throughout most business hours), this was a great experience. It is a little hard to find since you need to know the address and buzz up to the 4th floor, but once you know it's location, it couldn't be more pleasant. The staff was helpful (printing things, giving us a breakdown of what was open and what order to see things, helping us with directions) and it was a wonderful experience to stay there. The room was really comfortable with a bed that did not separate between us as we slept. All in all - I'd highly recommend.

A real find

Posted 13-Jun-2016 on Hotels
A wonderful small hotel ideally located within easy walking distance to all of the sights. Stephano is an excellent host. He was very helpful with advice. And I appreciated his genuine interest in making my stay in Florence most enjoyable.

Lovely hotel, convenient to everything

Posted 06-Jun-2016 on Hotels
This hotel is really lovely. The room was large, beautifully furnished, and had a view of the Duomo.Very convenient to many attractions in Florence, and Stephano (the manager?) was very helpful and available to answer any questions we had. He made recommendations based on our stay length to maximize our enjoyment of the city. The bed was comfortable, and we had a great stay!

Great stay

Posted 20-May-2016 on Hotels
This is a great little hotel. Close to everything, clean, modern but classic and very clean. Staff was friendly, and overall our stay was very pleasant. The only thing I would change is the towels. They use the kind that resemble sheets fabric instead of terry cloth and they don't dry the skin as well. Other than that it was perfect.

Comfortable and Convenient

Posted 14-May-2016
Pros: as stated above
Cons: turn off the church bells that ring every 15 minutes starting early in the morning
Location: Most of the attractions in Florence are close to one another, and the Residenza is right in the center of things.
Rezidenza is right in the center of things, a few minutes walk from major attractions. My single room was small but comfortable with a very high ceiling, so no danger of claustrophobia The owner/manager spent considerable time orienting me to Florence and was very helpful, even loaning me an alarm clock. He is not there at night (but can be contacted), so wake-up calls are out the question. And security is good: Common facilities are provided for preparing and eating food.
