A beautiful, stylish, small hotel on the 3rd floor of a lovely old building, with the ambiance of a private residence. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and our room (Livingstone) was spacious, elegant and very comfortable. A delightful place, and very highly recommended.

Great location, great host, great design

Super friendly host…..we had a rather late check-in, but the owner showed excellent flexibility, and gave nice recommendations for lunch - a great choice. Rooms are spacious and all you need and a funky amd artistic design - great fan. Definately coming again.

Kan være greit å bemerke at det er en B&B, ikke et hotell. Veldig god service når man kommer frem, men ser ellers ikke særlig til personalet ved overnattingsstedet. Ganske lytt mellom rom/gang. Lekkert interiør, pene rom. Føles som å bo i en stilig leilighet, mer enn et hotell. Enkel, men god frokost, som serveres på tralle til rommet. Savner noe mer variert utvalg, og et ordentlig bord å sitte ved. Fikk mange gode tips til restauranter o.l ved ankomst. Liker du B&B, kommer du til å elske dette! Ønsker du å bo på et fullservice hotell, kommer du til å savne enkelte ting! Stas å få en flaske prosecco ved ankomst da vi var der i anledning vår bryllupsreise! Ps: Burde hatt (mye) bedre hårføner på rommet!!

The Most Wonderful Stay

Velona’s Jungle’da 3 gece konakladık. Dekorasyonu, odamız, kahvaltı her şey en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüştü. Veronica otele girdiğimiz andan itibaren bize her konuda yardımcı oldu. Restoran, alışveriş önerilerinde bulundu. Hatta alışveriş merkezine gidebilmemiz için otobüs biletimizi bile aldı, kendisine buradan tekrar teşekkür ediyorum. Konumunun tam merkezde olmamasını düşünmeyin, her yere sadece 10 dakika yürüme mesafesinde ve Veronica’nın önerisi ile nehir kenarından keyifle yürüyerek merkeze ulaştık. Hem çalışanlar hem Veronica mükemmel bir deneyim sağladı. Floransa’ya tekrar geldiğimizde kesinlikle kalacağımız yer, evimiz gibi hissettirdiğin için teşekkürler Veronica.

Delightful Designer Luxury!

I make a point of staying at small boutique hotels, and Velona's is a fantastical example of why. The decor is worthy of the finest designer showcase house, and my room (the "Darwin") could have been decorated by Gianni Versace. Luxurious bathroom, specialty local organic bath products, elegant salon, etc etc. People greeting me and serving me breakfast could not be nicer or more welcoming. I cannot say enough about this intimate little hideaway in Florence.

If you're trying to decide whether or not to book Velona's, you're wasting your time. Book it. You'll love it. It's in a charming corner of Florence but far enough off the main drag that it doesn't feel overwhelming. Easy to get anywhere but a lovely place to wander around if you don't want to go far. Veronica, the owner, couldn't be nicer. The room was great. The ambiance of the property was tremendous. Book now and don't look back! :)

We absolutely loved our time at Velona’s, the place is beautiful, immaculate and Veronica is very welcoming. The suites are a 5-10 min walk to the river, so not as central as some accommodation as Florence is pretty small. But, well worth the extra 10 minute walk for this boutique B&B. Veronica is a local and have us loads of brilliant advice on where to eat and drink at a variety of prices. 100% recommend and would love to come back again!
