We loved this hotel!
Our favorite thing about Palazzo Graziani was the rooftop patio, with great views of the Duomo and all around. We were up there almost every evening to watch the sunset. Second best thing was the location, since we were headed one day to the Uffizi and the next to the Accademia. This is a fine hotel, with a good breakfast, attentive and helpful front desk, and spacious rooms.

The safety of the property was excellent. The location was excellent. The quality of the rooms and bathrooms were fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotless and well maintained. Having a kettle for tea was a plus. The rooftop terrace… wow, unparalleled and unobstructed views of the Duomo. But that’s not the best part… the staff is exceptional. The gentleman at the front desk when we first arrived in the morning was very helpful. We arrived well before our checkin time. We were a party of 8 so had four rooms. Only one room was ready. He permitted us to get in that room early. Leave luggage. Use restroom and freshen up. Then, upon checkout, we were struggling to book a taxi ahead of time (do your research on this - it’s a bit challenging). We needed to leave at 9:00-9:10 AM to get us to the train station. With luggage it’s a good long walk so walking was not an option. We tried to reserve a taxi ahead of time via email & WhatsApp. We were told to call 10 mins before needing the taxi on the day off by the taxi company. On the morning of they didn’t respond to text on WhatsApp and the number the taxi service gave never picked up when we called. The front desk gentleman (I wish I could remember his name) started his shift at 9. We were desperate when he walked in. He immediately dropped everything and helped us… had two taxis there within 10 minutes! He was a lifesaver!! If you’re looking for lodging in Florence… this is the place. Book it!

I accidentally left my black jacket in my room after I checked out. I contacted the hotel to inquire if there was a jacket left in my room and they replied back right away to state that they had the jacket. I could pick it up at the hotel or they could make arrangements to have it shipped. I picked up the jacket a week later once I returned to the area. Really appreciated the hospitality.

I booked a double room 7 months ago, at check this week I was given a room with a kitchen with a sign saying we touch anything in the kitchen, 30euros. Front desk coverage only 6 hours daily. After being locked out of room for 24 hours, no one answered their posted emergency phone after 40 tries and no voicemail option. We left our key in our room and because there was no desk clerk and no one answering the emergency line, we were left with no option but sit in their tiny, lobby over night where there is no furniture .Posted sign saying you arrive after 8 pm, you have to pay an extra 30 euros to check in. Manager refused to refund one nights fee even though his poorly and minimally managed business failed to have any personnel available to help us and we had no sleep for 24 hours. Customer service is zero here.

We are sorry for your comment, but our establishment is not a hotel but a B&B and we do not have 24-hour reception. The reception hours, as written on all sites, are from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Our staff is always available during these hours. The room with the kitchen room was an upgrade and the 30 euro is to cover the cost of cleaning it. Unfortunately we cannot answer for forgotten keys or access codes. We recommend that for your next trips you book at a 4-star hotel that has 24-hour reception.

Property is very well located, near shops, restaurants and the Duomo. Overall, room was very clean but the air conditioning did not work... it is a small unit on the wall and it did not cool the room at all. There is no one at the front desk until 3 pm, if you arrive early there is nowhere to store your luggage. You need to wait outside the building with your bags until someone shows up. Not a great way to start a vacation!

We had a fabulous window view of Domo! Everything we needed to see from the Academia to Domo was within 10 min walking distance. The breakfast was an added bonus was was the beautiful rooftop where we would sit at the end of each evening! They were very helpful in terms of addressing our needs and even held our luggage after checkout.

Perfect location for the Duomo Cathedral with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops located nearby. Gorgeous building with an amazing roof top terrace which enables you to see views of Florence far and wide - even whilst eating your breakfast.

Excellent B&B. Walkable to Duomo, Uffizi, Fort Belvedere, Ponte vecchio. Great choice of restaurants within 5 minutes of this hotel. Has a wonderful roof top terrace to enjoy any time of the day. Highly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at the Palazzo Graziani. The staff were very helpful and courteous and even recommended some great nearby restaurants. The room was very clean, with tall floor to ceiling windows. The property itself is in a great area, a close ten minute the Duomo but not so close that it’s too loud. There is a fantastic piazza close by by the lions fountain pub that has lots of excellent restaurants and people watching. Most of the people in this area are Italians so definitely feels like a more authentic experience… not a tourist trap! Best of all the roof top terrace gives you a 360 degree view of the city… what better way to wake up than a breakfast overlooking the Duomo! 10 out of 10!

This property is clean, convenient, and quite lovely. Being an older palazzo makes it even more enjoyable. BE SURE TO TAKE IN THE SITES FROM THE ROOF TOP -- the 360 degree views are spectacular!

Palazzo Graziani is a wonderful hotel. The staff are as helpful and friendly as any I have ever experienced. They let us check in early to clean up on a whirlwind 2-day trip to Florence so we were able to use every minute there to see the city. They kept our bags until we left the next evening. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view of the Duomo from my room was better than any postcard!!! You should stay here!!! We LOVE THEM!

Great location. Great size room. Great staff. And the views from the rooftop patio are phenomenal. 360 degree views of the city and can almost feel like you can reach out and touch the Duomo. Check-in hours are very limited. And a block from all of the college bars, so it gets quite noisy late evening and into the early overnight hours.

A great view of the whole city from the terrace. Duomo is very close. Staff was very helpful, accomadating, and friendly. They went above and beyond. Great breakfast buffet with a wide variety. Walking distance to everything you want to see. This was our second time staying here. Really love this hotel.

Beautiful and charming place. If you like spanish/mediteranian/traditional architecture you'll love the place. Great for families! Definitely returning to the property! Frontdesk was very nice and accommodating. The tiny drawback, a few steps to some of the rooms but didnt bother us at all.

Great spot for New Year's Eve. We viewed the fireworks from the rooftop terrace. Have never seen anything like it before - fireworks going off all around in every direction. Incredible. Interesting that the front desk staff didn't even mention it on check-in. Only one other couple was up there. The overall inn was nice, however, our room was in the newly remodeled section. Remodeled with a very futuristic modern vibe. OK, not for everyone and OK but the heat would not shut down, even at night. Spoke with the very nice woman at the front desk twice about it but nothing was done. Luckily, we realized we just had to keep the door to the bedroom closed at all times to keep the incessant heat out. Also, if you have any dust allergies - beware - were suffering by day 3/4 and suspect the culprit was the curtains hanging at the huge window because otherwise the room seemed clean. The first day at breakfast (New Year's Eve morning) there were no cleared tables and had to sit at a dirty, uncleared table and just shove the other dishes aside. After that, there were two people working at all times so maybe someone complained. Overall, stayed here for three nights and would recommend with these comments in mind.

The place was nice and clean. Thin walls though but that didnt bother me as much. The main thing that stood out and I found suspicious was that a few of my makeup went missing and the last time I used them and put it away was at this hotel ? When i left Florence I couldn’t seem to find it anywhere. I never even left the hotel with it in my bag. So I'm pretty certain it was there. The hotel said they didn’t find anything when I inquired about my missing items. Im not accusing anyone of anything - all im saying is if you plan on staying here watch your things !!!???? :) Eg put your valuables in the safe 😉 Anyway thats all.

historical building, and great location.
This property was very nice and breakfast was simple but good to get your day started. Location is excellent with most museums and must see spots within walking distance. Very nice towels for European hotels. Easy to get in and out. The receptionists were friendly and easy to communicate to. They organized taxis for us and they were spot on. Only issue we had is that they were not that knowledable about tours and restaurants in the area, we had to rely on Google. Wonder location and well kept ancient building, very fun stay here!

Fantastic location in an historic building , great views of Il Duomo from the rooftop terrace - you are even allowed to bring up your wine up thereto watch the sunset ! We absolutely loved this place

Lovely, fairly recently updated property, but still retains original character. Walking distance to attractions. Beautiful roof top terrace with 360 view of Florence. Large well accommodating rooms. Could have used a place to set luggage. Room faced the street and noise was an issue one night. Breakfast was decent, but coffee had a very different taste as we couldn't drink it.

Good location but not easy walking to with big bags. Suggest taxi for sure. Architecture in room and view were very nice. However, bathroom floor and shower were dangerously slippery and in such a small area care was needed. Also, the AC did not work well after an hour of light cooling only the fan worked. AC portion did not work after that.
