Fantastic location steps from the Duomo. However the property itself was a bit run down. There were light switches and knobs that didn’t work in our room. The included breakfast was simply prepackaged snacks and Nutella left in your room with a coffee machine and some juice.

Basically broken down and needs refurbishing. Lock very tough to use; bathroom floor tile broken and dangerous to step on (although broken tile removed); drapes falling apart; tap faucet came out; mattress needs replaced. Positive points are big room, big bathroom and excellent location.

Mixed but mostly lovely
It was difficult to connect in the beginning but got better after we did. The room was lovely. The breakfast was limited but ok. There is no “front desk” to help you so be prepared. You can call the host if needed. Awesome location. Just steps from the duomo.

The location was perfect! Right outside the Duomo, close to restaurants, attractions, Uffizy and the terminal. The rooms were quiet and have a nice patio which is shared with the other room. The air conditioner was perfect and worked well. The room is more spacious than it appears in the picture they have online. The man cleaning the rooms was so kind and helped carry my luggage since there wasnt a elevator but a small flight of stairs. Checking in was easy, I connected with the owner through Whatsapp and they provided easy to follow instructions. I would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Le Stanze di Caterina in Florence. My husband and I were only in Florence for one night and the location of Le Stanze di Caterina was so convenient and close to major must see sites in Florence! The room was so spacious and the bathroom was to die for! The provided breakfast was also great for us because we were on the go. I would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again on a future trip to Florence!

It's really strange that you couldn't find our BB. It is on a very well known street near the dome , via dello studio 12, with a big nameplate on the door.

Fantastic location near the Duomo, easy to reach all of the city's sights. Communication was friendly, easy and fast. Despite arriving later than scheduled due to a problem with the trains, there were no issues. The room was large and decorated with art work. I loved the shiny tiled bathroom which contained one of the nicest showers I've used in a hotel. There is no breakfast room, instead there are 4 coffee pods, coffee machine, tea bags, kettle and various biscuits, jams and croissants. Orange juice and water were provided each day. A good size fridge, sink and washing liquid were provided too. A safe was provided in the wardrobe, however, there's three locked doors from the road to the room so everything felt very secure.

Unfortunately we had problems with Tv on those days, but for the rest, you are not right. For luggage we offer this service only 10, and just because our maid has to come back, and nobody has ever complained

Location, location, location!!! This Inn was right next to the Duomo and really in the heart of Florence. The Inn was cute and comfortable! Loved the yummy coffee machine and the bed was comfortable. The host was very helpful. There is a 10 Euro fee to store luggage after check out.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location - right by the Florence Duomo, easy walk to the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio. Clean, comfortable room. Light breakfast (pastries, OJ, water, coffee) provided in room.

Heavenly Sleep for a Heavenly City
My stay was wonderful. The owner bent over backwards to meet me and be accomodating with check in and back stowage. The room was beautifully done and I enjoyed the big beautiful bathroom and hot shower immensely. There were three locking doors between the city and I and I felt immensely safe. I slept remarkably well and the mattress and comforter were divine and extremely comfortable. I wish I had taken my boyfriend because he would have slept like a baby too. Super happy to see a larger comforter that was like sleeping on a cloud.

Ok, but needs some improvements
Positives - The hotel was in the perfect location, right on a street overlooking the Duomo square. It was the most beautiful place! The bathroom was also very nice, decorated lovely with a huge walk in shower. Negatives - Because there isn’t a 24 hour reception, we did have to wait outside for 45 minutes for somebody to arrive to show us the room and for check in. The door didn’t lock. We kept messaging the owner who kept telling us what to do but it just wouldn’t lock, so we had to leave our things unattended with no lock which didn’t feel safe. The aircon didn’t work properly and the lights kept flickering - the owner did offer for us to change rooms due to the problems, but when we looked at the other room on offer we found it to be very dirty and so decided to stay in the original room. Also the breakfast included is just two packet croissants (which were rock hard, I have no idea how long they’d been sat there for), some hard bread and Nutella. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods. Overall, with a bit of care and repairs put into the place it would really be worth the money and a beautiful place to stay. I’d certainly stay again just for the location if the little things were fixed up and more care taken with the quality. But if things didn’t change then I would stay somewhere else on my return to Florence.

Loved this place! Location is superb. Literally right outside the Duomo. Beautifully appointed. Very private and quiet. Nice size. Most comfortable bed in all of the five hotels we stayed in while in Italy. Only downside - hot water ran out quickly - after one 8 minute shower. (Great shower head though!)

The location was great and the space was recently renovated by a new owner. Unfortunately we booked a unique property that we selected for its Italian charm and old world style, but the new owners added a room and rented out the one we booked to someone else. The new owners also discontinued breakfast service and neglected to get their own internet service. When asking for WiFi they provided a log in that didn’t work then after notifying them they asked us to try connecting to a nearby restaurant’s network. The code for that did not work either, so we had no internet service and “breakfast” which was part of our booking was some dry packaged toast that was broken and a mini Nutella spread. Despite being told we were the first in the new room the toilet was dirty and leaked and the sink faucet aerator was installed wrong so it sprayed water everywhere. The bedside lamp didn’t have a bulb. We were pretty disappointed to not get the room we booked and expressed it to the property agent, but for some reason she said it would be impossible to let us stay there even though it was vacant when we arrived. We went out to explore Florence and it was beautiful, but upon returning in the evening we found the outer door locked and the keys we were given for it were the wrong ones. I don’t know who is to blame, the agent, the owner, or the previous owner, but someone should have contacted us if the ownership and property changed after we booked it. I was disappointed in the service.

Its a kind of guest house with a great location 1 min walk from the duomo...the room size is ok...clean renovated with a very nice bathroom...the wifi internet is very fast..the room service is good but with no reception at night...dont book with breakfast as there is no breakfast only coffee and some toast and jam in ur room..i strongly recommend this hotel..

A slice of old Florence!
A lovely room in the heart of Florence! Central location within walking distance to some lovely piazzas and museums. The room is lovely and the host was very accommodating: friendly and informative. The room is comfortable and furnished with elegant, plush surroundings. You get a sense of travelling back in time in this highly recommended hotel.

Mrs or Mr Anonymous(unfortunately the concealment behind anonymity does not allow me to have the pleasure of knowing with whom I'm speaking and therefore in which room you have stayed....), to define our room "just ok", regardless of whether it is the Italian or the Spanish one, I think is an insult to Italian design. Both our room are considered very beautiful, special and ,above all, equipped with every comfort (very comfortable bed, air conditioning, wi fi, satellite TV, tranquility both day and night, safe, slippers, courtesy set in bathroom, etc ...). Moreover our place has been advertised in many of the most prestigious design magazines including, for example, AD- Architectural Digest. About the breakfast, it's absolutely wrong to say that it was only, as you have written, coffee, muffin and a bowl of fruit. I would like to remind you that in our room, every day, we supply two bottles of mineral water(attention that can only be found in some 5-star hotels), slice biscottata, plumcake, jam in two favours, Nutella, yogurt, butter, two cups of strawberry in season, a bowl of different fruit, coffee and tea. Finally our room are sale at a price absolutely in line with the central position of the place and the services offered. All of this is confirmed by the numerous positive reviews received. Regards.

Perfect Hotel
Honeymoon trip. The Duomo is literally a few steps from the entrance of the hotel. Perfect location, large clean room, large modern bathroom and shower, mini bar with free fruit and water. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent stay. Room was clean and nicely decorated. The location of this hotel could not have been better. 10-15 minute walk from the train station and feet away from the Duomo. We will absolutely stay here again.
