We had a great overnight at this charming little place, booking 2 rooms for our party of 5, both with en suite bath. The management were very friendly and accommodating — we were able us to store our bags there both before and after our check in/out as we explored Florence — they were also able to offer an excellent restaurant suggestion for dinner. The B&B is ideally located within easy walking distance of most major sites, but on a quiet street. The bed was comfortably firm and the common area a nice place to have a glass of wine before dinner with our group or coffee together in the morning. We skipped the in-house breakfast opting to just have starter coffee then head out for espresso and pastries nearby. The rooms were well appointed making good use of the space. The bathrooms were clean and had what we needed, again very space efficient. All in all a nice overnight for our group. Would recommend and would stay again.

Although the room is not big, it is sufficient, the heating is sufficient, and it is very quiet. It's exactly a fifteen-minute walk from the train station and super close to the main attractions. There are also many delicious restaurants around. The toilet is opposite the room and needs to be exited, which makes it a little troublesome to lock the door when entering and exiting. It is suggested that the owner should change to a password lock for more convenience. Overall, I am very satisfied with the price. Nine points for satisfaction, and one point for encouragement!

This is a very uncomfortable place to stay. For the cost it is better to stay at a hotel. If traveling with bags, forget this. You have to climb about 20 stairs to get to the property. Rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny with no space for anything. Poor service as no one is available at the front desk. Terrible place to stay!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in Florence, with lovely decorations in the reception and lobby and halls. Located close to everything but very hard to locate with Google maps. Small room but the bed was nice. There was no breakfast provided but there was a coffee machine in the lobby. No elevator and the rooms are in the second floor of the building, so not accessible to anyone with ambition issues. Right next door to an amazing bar with very unique drinks.

We loved the central location of this boutique spot. We could easily walk form the train station, and get to all the local museums. It was modern, clean and had everything we needed, including AC.

My Home Base in Floorence
I had stayed there seven years ago and this is where I cam back to. That pretty much says it all. It was as I remembered it. Clean, impeccable, accessible, and the staff was very helpful.

The saving grace for this stay was how close it was to everything. Our room smelled pretty bad upon check in. They also call it a bed and breakfast but there’s no breakfast, they have a coffee machine that only sometimes worked. The rooms are super tiny and check out is way too early at 10 am.

Our check in was easy and the proprietor was very kind and helpful about letting us leave our luggage all day after checkout. The room was comfortable and very clean. Not fancy but very well appointed with nice treats like tea and coffee in the room and in the common room. Thank you.

I booked here because of great reviews, but unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. My room was quite dirty and the air conditioning didn’t work, which made sleeping almost impossible. On the plus side, I must say that the location was unbeatable.

B&B suppose to have breakfast, hence the name B&B and I am pretty sure when I booked the room, it was with breakfast. But this B&B does not provide breakfast. It has a coffee machine and for a couple of days it was out of coffee. Fresh towels were not provided daily and I had to go and look for it in the storage room.

Awful service, decent rooms and cleanliness.
After 9 hours of travelling, we had to wait for another 2 hours before anybody came to check us in, despite them knowing our arrival time 2 days before. When discussing with other guests, they were in the same situation as us when they checked in. The rooms were clean. The triple room was quite small for 3 people, but the location was amazing so that was the price to pay. Good cleanliness. Tea and coffee available all day. Most rooms don’t have the bathroom inside the room, you need to cross a hallway to access the bathroom which is very strange.

Good place to crash. Very small room excellent AC. Didn’t like the fact that the washroom was not in the room. Staff during the day only but reply when needed. Excellent location to discover Florence.

Perfect location. Hassle free
A great place in the heart of Florence. Room was nice and clean and the AC was a godsend. Separate bathroom but not too much of an inconvenience. TAKE A DETAILED MAP. QUITE DIFFICULT TO FIND AND DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS.

Not quite a bed and breakfast
This bed and breakfast was nice, but the room we were given was much smaller than pictures lead us to believe. We paid extra for the deluxe room and it was anything but. Staff was very friendly and helpful in booking a taxi. Also, it’s important to note that the living room/kitchen area pictured is a shared space amongst many guests coming in/out. It’s bordering the line of a nice hostel.

Really cool location and excellent host! Comfortable, clean room and good breakfast (typical bread and yogurt but also options like homemade cake). There are some limitations around leaving bags to explore since there is no access without a key after 4pm and the stairs up to the apartment were a little musky, but those are small drawbacks. For the most part, an excellent experience that I highly recommend.

Perfect Location
We would definitely stay there again and wouldn't;t hesitate to recommend Badia Fiorentina to others. Only negatives were that the AC was not as efficient as we hoped, but it was August in Florence, and we appreciated being able to at least adjust the temperature in the room a little bit. Also, on a couple of occasions we smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway, which may have just been from another guest who smoked outside. Our room was impeccable, clean, roomy, and the service was fabulous.

Location, location, location.
Very good service from the staff. The location is great. You are in the middle of everything and it is easy to get around. The only downside is that the wifi was a bit unstable when we got back at night, but that was a minor issue. We were not planning to eat the free breakfast every day, but we did. Just because we had a lot of things planned early in the morning, and we were still not tired of the food after 5 straight days. I would recommend and stay here again.

We enjoyed being centrally located. The room was clean. Bathroom was not in the room which made it very disappointing since the pictures and description did not indicate separate bathroom. However, we came to find out that there are rooms with attached bathrooms, so if you are going to stay here, ask for it. I will next time.

Great place! Employees are so incredibly friendly. Breakfast was good and the area always clean and stocked. The only downside was housekeeping turned our air conditioner off during the day and it was 97 degrees outside. It cooled off fairly soon but, would’ve liked to be more comfortable coming back in from the heat

Family fun in Florence.
Staff was friendly helpful and kind. The rooms were a great size and very clean. Location is perfect about 5 to 10 mins from almost every point of intrest and 14 mins from the train station. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Great central location and very helpful friendly owners. Room and breakfast were both excellent, with tea an coffee always available. Be aware that there is a long steep flight of stairs up to the rooms and reception. Do not book if this will be a problem. Otherwise, perfect.

Unfortunately we only had a 1 night in Badia Florentina & Florence on this occasion but will most definitely return to both again. Although we initially had some difficulty finding our accommodation it was well worth finding. The staff were so nice & most helpful, pointing out all the places of interest as well as all the wonderful places to to eat. Our room was lovely, clean & spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Plenty of food choices for breakfast & lots of good coffee too. Even though check out was at 11am our bags were stored safely for us until we collected them at 4pm making it so much easier for us to see as much of Florence as possible before we had to get our train to Milan.
