"This was our return visit to the Doric Hotel & as before the staff were very nice especially the dining room lady Una, she was exceptional.
I booked 2 sea view rooms in September 2025 but when we arrived in June 2026, our friends were given a side sea room. When we complained they offered to move them the next day (very disappointing as we’d booked months ago & both paid for a sea view room & expecting to be close together but we were on different floors) Rooms were tired & our bathroom had a bad water stench smell.
Nice outdoor pool which we were able to take advantage of.
Food was very nice & always a good choice.
The evening entertainment was very much the same each evening just a different singer & some evenings felt very sorry for them when singing to only 10 people (which one singer described as a furniture sales room).
Overall we had a good time but just need to sort out the booking system & update bedroom/bathrooms."
