Lyndene Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel, not the most modern but it serves its purpose, it smelt lovely when i walking in with air freshener, it smelt like the room had been throughly cleaned, the bedsheet was annoying and fell off the bed and could of done with some extra tea supplies and pillows however housekkeeping did privide extra towels, there was quite a bit of noise downstairs during dinner time and the entertaintment area until quite late, i would advise having breakfast before 9am as after 9am it was pure chaos. 20 minute wait for food and the glasses and juice dispensers were running out, staff were freindly and tried there best to cater for the vast amount of people past 9am, very clean and great hotel on blackpool sea front, theres a nearby tram stop St Chads Road and Pleasure Beach is a 15 minute walk away"

"Overall it a good stay: very clean and staff seemed happy and willing. The little things like I drink decaf which was poor so the next day there was a pot of decaf waiting. Double charges for room service are alway a frustration, tray charge and service charge. Just say how much you want and let people tip! There is also complimentary water in card bottles that they ask you to fill but on filling the bottles desolve or split and leak everywhere."

"I love the Strathmore and always return here but there are always issues with noise from certain rooms which I've mentioned to the staff many times, and still it continues."

"Hotel was really clean and friendly staff only issue for me and my wife is the bed was rock hard so made for very uncomfortable nights but would recommend the hotel to others if you are ok with beds like this"

"Only stayed one night as we were seeing a show in town. Room was clean, and we had a sea view. We didn't eat here, but the breakfast looked popular. Near a tram stop, but we walked to and from town, got our steps in!"

"We had. A big room which was very nicely decorated. It had a new radiator which was set at 21 but the room was cold . The radiator never got hot . And we were cold the bathroom was very cold . It said press the radiator button to turn it on for a hour it made no difference."

"Amazing staff, but the building is old and tired. My room in this stay appeared to have been recently refurbished and was great but the fabric of the building is poor. Floorboard creak all the time, the showers only seem to run at either freezing or scaffolding, nothing in-between. Issues on this most recent stay include the lift not working, yet again, and tiles crashing of the roofthe roof"
