"The location of the hotel was perfect. The view of the castle from our room was breathtaking. The hotel was the staff could not have been nicer. We had breakfast (buffet) - it was delish. I would recommend upgrading to a room with a castle view - it is 100% worth it. Looking forward to going back to Scotland - will absolutely stay at this location again."

"Though we only stayed one night the Apex Waterloo was a delight. We arrived in the early afternoon, way before check-in but we were upgraded to a two story accommodation that was available immediately (for which we were grateful after a long flight)! We were surprised to find air conditioning. Most hotels in Scotland do not have it and the summer days can get quite warm. The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. We enjoyed cocktails in the lounge after our day of sightseeing and breakfast was wonderful. The hotel stored our luggage while we toured the castle and unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy the pool or spa but we will definitely return! Thank you!"

"Loved this location. a 15 minute walk or so from the heart of Edinburgh. The rooms were well appointed. I travelled with my son and nephew, both over 20 and we needed somewhere to stay for two nights. This was one of the few locations which could accommodate us in one room. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Definelly would stay there again."
