A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back.

I have stayed numerous times at this hotel and always enjoyed my time there, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water, a good shower with a nice warm room.

Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and it was amazing. The Hotel knew this and left us a lovely note and some chocolates in our room for when we arrived, what a lovely surprise. We went to the Spa for a swim and sauna, we almost fell asleep on the beds we were so relaxed.

The building is beautiful and decor inside is lovely. The staff are attentive and polite. Great value for money. Would definitely like to return.

We had a lovely stay at Marmadukes. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and when we had a problem with our room we were moved straight away without any fuss. It's a beautiful building and in a great location from which to discover York. Would definitely recommend!

This is a fantastic hotel, in an idyllic location. Everything about Goldsborough is of the highest quality, with great attention to detail .Our room was exceptional and the cleanliness was the best I have seen so far. The gardens are delightful to walk round and the head gardener was very polite and friendly, as were all the staff. Booked this Milford hotel for me and my husband as was attending Leeds festival, the hotel staff were very accommodating on arrival, I had contacted the hotel in advance about early checkin and as soon as we arrived our room was ready (at 12) Even when we returned from the festival the man who was on the night desk had bags for our wellington boots. The bar food in the water mill restaurant was very tasty too, Standard prices for a hotel - smoked salmon baguette with salad and crisps £6....

I was greeted by a lovely lady called Gill who informed me of all the information relevant for my stay, just the right amount not overwhelming like some places I have stayed. The room well Minnie house/cottage was beautiful, the decore suited the cottage perfect every last detail was in place. The bed was comfy and actual real plump pillows ahhhhh. Fresh milk in the fridge is always a plus, free parking and super quick free wifi. Will defiantly return on my next stay in York.

We brought our grandsons to stay overnight as had a two day pass to Flamingoland. Check-in was quick and easy, lovely welcoming landlady. The family room was clean and tidy, with ample room for the 4 of us. Had an evening meal there, with good childrens menu and the Breakfast next morning was delicious! Overall a very pleasant experience and the boys (ages 3 and 6) were made to feel included and welcome.. We would certainly recommend this hotel as a base for visiting the surrounding area.

Great hotel 10-15 minute walk into the centre. Generous sized rooms. Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Great value for money.
