"Well below expectations allowing for the fact that this is a 200 year old property. We were in a small top floor room which was difficult to access with luggage despite there being an antique lift to get to the second floor. It still required negotiating stairs and numerous fire doors. The room itself was stiflingly hot. Obviously no air-conditioning, the wooden casement window only opened about 10cm (for safety reasons). The manager advised there was an electric fan in the wardrobe which he kindly offered to set up. Notwithstanding the fan the room was uncomfortably hot for our one night stay. The shower over bath with a dreaded nylon shower curtain did not encourage multiple showers.The included breakfast was good and the staff were very pleasant & obliging."

"Absolutely amazing stay!! This home has absolutely everything you need for an amazing stay!! The pool is beautifully warm and the gardens are absolutely stunning. We can’t wait to come back! The host was so accommodating and gave us some great recommendations for the area ect! Thank you so much!!"

"we only stayed over one night. The food was adequate and cooked well three courses Breakfast was well presented with good choices very friendly Staff. Whilst there we noticed that there was a swimming pool for the guests also entertainment of an evening which was good fun. Over all a good stay but a bit dated"

"We were a family of 18 on a 3 night stay and had such a brilliant time. It catered for us all - aged 1 to 92! The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space but come together around the fabulous dining room table. Lots of fun was had in the pool room, onsite pub and hot tub. From check in - right up to when we left Timo (the host) was beyond helpful. He made sure we were well informed, helped us with a few queries and was very generous with his time. We had a few issues with the house being cold when we arrived (it was March!) but within a couple of hours Timo ensured all was sorted and the fires were lit. Safe to say it was wonderfully warm the rest of our stay. Would definitely stay here again. "
