"Stayed on 2 seperate nights in one week. Returned for 2nd night it was so good. Felt like we were minded like family. Left a bag behind and when i returmed next evening the receptionist offered me a cup of tea. I had driven a good distance and here was a person who could read how to treat and look after a guest in an empathetic way. Each and every staff member was polite and went over and above. "The room was clean and comfortable large bed. We would have preferred a walk in shower rather than over the bath but was fine for two nights. Parking wasn’t easy very busy and restricted bays. Staff very helpful. Very good breakfast. Bar food good. "

"Only stayed one night unfortunately but will definitely return. Staffs are very helpful and friendly; great breakfast; bedroom lovely and enjoyed the bar. We would have eaten at the restaurant but only one vegan option on the menu so are elsewhere and the gym is good as long as there are few people in there at the same time. Great location in the center, just not the easiest to find."

"I don’t usually post negative comments but feel on this occasion it’s require based on the room rate. Our room including bathroom was slightly tired and is in need of a refreshment and lacked your normal toiletries for this level of hotel. The mini fridge compressors was very loud and as such led to both nights of poor sleep, not ideal when you book a weekend away to recover. However, the main building was very beautiful and had a nice lounge to relax in the evening."
