"Great location to stay right in the centre of town and basically next to the Cathedral area. Room was comfortable and nicely appointed. We had dinner in the bar, very friendly staff and decent food. Breakfast in he morning was equally nice - it is a beautiful old building and these areas were lovely. For us also useful that it had parking included. A very nice play to stay in Carlisle. "

"I had to ring ahead as I thought I would miss their opening hours, the proprietor was friendly+ helpful, said there would be no problem. In the following am was a very good breakfast, freshly cooked. Lovely place to stay. Very convenient for station and centre centre < 10 mins walk."
