"We had a great holiday. We stay for 4 nights ( 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 6)). The lodge is very cosy and it is very spacious. My son was very happy watching the ducks swimming in the pond. Despite checking in online earlier that morning and advising of expected arrival time, I didn't receive the code for the lock box and all attempts at contacting the host failed, no response to phone calls or text messages, in fact the host declined my calls on numerous occasions. "Foxglove cottage is ideally situated in the village, very close to the shop/post office and the excellent "Boot and Shoe" pub. The cottage was clean on arrival, maybe a little dated on the interior, but this adds to the charm. Beds were clean and comfy and the free wi- fi was a nice touch along with the freeview tv. Plenty of good walks and a lovely park and outdoor pool nearby."
