Ashton Court Hotel

"The Hotel is fine. The room appears to have been redone over the past few months, just a shame the bathroom wasn’t also updated as it was very aged, definitely needs an update. In the evening a light outside, to illuminate the Hotel sign, & unfortunately this shines into the room, which is very annoying. The breakfast was good, great staff, different cereals and a nice fry up. I think update the bathroom, both pillows are too soft, need a firmer pillow, and switch the light off at night outside and you’re onto a winner."

"I took my two boys on a long weekend and I was pleasantly surprised at the hotel amenities gym, indoor pool and outdoor heated pool with loungers. It was a delight for adults and kids. The bar is nice and the buffet breakfast is really well balanced with options for ordering cooked oatmeal or eggs the way you like them. I would definitely comeback. The location is near the marina and plenty of options for eating out."

"Hotel was very clean, but room decor very tired. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Not happy about payking and breakfast being an extra, especially as a buffet breakfast. Still decent value for money as excellent location"

"Driving up to the hotel, it looked disappintingly like a low end budget hotel....i see now why the first image on expedia was of the attached Carriages Restaurant. On this particular visit, the land close by was being developed... cant hear anything, but the view from the room looked out towards the construction site. Carpet along the hallways was dated. Room itself was good but more attention needs to be paid to dusting.. there were threads of spider web in the coffee cups.. Air conditioning worked nicely, beds were clean and comfortable. Room wasnt as spacious as id throught it might have been. Bathroom was well presented...the tap did seem "blocked"... and indeed it was... after several wipes with tissue paper, wiping away gunk that had clogged it up, the tap was flowing nicely... toilet was low profile and clean. The experience with the taps did however make me feel uncomfortable using it. At night, on a clear night, the car park made for an excellent star gazing site."

"We loved the golf course views from our room with balcony and the quiet. Ample parking which was great for check in and check out. Great pool and sauna relaxed well- we didn’t feel like leaving the property so cut down our travel time to enjoy there. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely revisit. Only thing is it’s remote and away from village so eating options limited and have to rely on the property. But I think have to accept that for the tranquility and peace . Will definitely revisit and stay again"

"Lovely hotel, with incredibly warm and welcoming staff. We had our puppy with us who was well looked after and cared for by all. Restaurant was delicious and very attentive operations manager who ensured everything was of a very high standard and the dog was accommodated. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
