However early evening we heard rustling in the weeds by the lake which was outside the patio doors, on further investigation we saw 10s of rats. A quiet town with riverside walks and some quite good Gastro-Pubs as an alternative to dining in the hotel....try The Royal Oak along Vine Street. The Evesham hotel has a comfortable and modern bar which diners may use for after dinner coffee.
