"I had a really positive stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. The location is excellent for the NEC and also close to the High Street, while still being far enough away that the hotel itself felt peaceful. My Grand Room was spacious, very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the hotel accommodating my last-minute upgrade and doing its best to honour my room requests. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. A special thank you to Saleem, the Deputy General Manager, and Lucy for their help during my stay. Saleem also very kindly waived my overnight parking charge, which I greatly appreciated. A few things prevented me from giving five stars. Room 351 had a noticeable humming noise from nearby machinery, and the room remained quite cold despite using the heating function. The bathroom also became extremely hot and steamy, and the extraction did not appear to work effectively. A fridge would have been useful, as would slippers for the very cold bathroom floor. There were also a couple of small housekeeping oversights with soap and bin liners. I would also encourage the hotel to consider complimentary parking for resident Blue Badge holders. I didn't have enough time to experience all the hotel's amenities, but overall I felt very well looked after. It was a great place to stay, with genuinely helpful staff, and I would happily return."

"Stayed there many times before staff are wonderful manager S and desk staff do their best to be as helpful as possible sizzling group Bar connected to the Hotel is easy access and safe as there’s an internal entrance Bar is lively of the weekend and sports Karaoke disco and bands so definitely worth if you can’t get about much staying there for the Pub side of stuff and entertainment food is good quality cooked fresh Parking is adequate with several disabled species essential for us as my wife is disabled Facilitate room is good but not always available as they only have one. However the rest of the rules are still adequate if you have restricted disabilities. So you can get by so yeah would highly recommend a visit and the shops down Shirley Stratford Road or a mixture. There are other bars and restaurants and you can hop on the bus and go into Birmingham city Centre also Solihull within about 20 to 30 minutes. Either way shops are good naturally the city centre is vast with lots going on. So closing comments, Sat satisfactory clean lots to do. As regards to socialising would highly recommend."

"Lovely grounds and easy walk to the Castle . The room was built with bunks for kids, but as a couple we found if quite roomy. The breakfast buffet was good with fresh watermelon and pineapple a nice treat."

"An enjoyable stay. We were there for a week long break. We made full use of the swimming pool. Was never too busy. It is sometimes used fir kids swimming lessons but their area is roped off so no problem. Enjoyable breakfast. The sound proofing of the doors could be improved as there was a little noise from the corridors but that didn't spoil our stay."

"Our room was modern and very well presented, check in was fine and parking convenient and reasonably priced. Main areas need an update or refurb (which seems to be happening currently)but overall good value for money"
