"Other than the bed (which I only found out when I got in it was two beds pushed together) being really uncomfortable when positioned in the middle because you essentially fell down a bit of a gap, I couldn’t fault this place. Super clean, really modern, with high end fixtures and fittings. Amazing shower!"

"This was just a stop-over on our way home from Scotland. Our room was clean and had everything we needed (apart from tea bags!) and we ate down in the bar in the evening too. Wow! What a magnificent meal it was. Great food and good prices too. "

"Great place, exactly what we needed for our roadside stop on the way from Scotland down to the SE of England. Excellent facilities- a real treat to have a swim and gym after a long drive. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful- I was erroneously charged twice for the stay due to a mix up by Expedia, but this was resolved quickly and efficiently by one of the receptionists at the hotel (also really refreshing in a big international hotel chain to be able to call up and speak to staff at the hotel directly, instead of an international call centre)."

"I stayed here as I was walking the Northumberland Coastal route. The hotel is in the heart of the village. Lovely bar and restaurant area and the food is good value for money. The room was spacious with plenty of storage if needed. Lovely large shower with quality toiletries. Breakfast choice is very good and the ingredients were good quality. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. I would highly recommend this. "
