"It was a great stay for my family. What an experience for us. Super clean and friendly staff. Only issue we had was at check in and check out. Not the staffs fault but computer issues and needing to address reservations better for 3 parties like Expedia for instance. My stay was paid in full and the front desk had a hard time seeing that. Besides that it was great."
"Maid service was excellent. Location was very good. Concierge and assistance from front desk was average to poor. Restaurant was average. Nice place but not above average."
"If you want elk walking up to your front door, then this is the place to stay! Tucked away from the crowds of Banff, the Rocky Mountain resort is a nice getaway destination. While the property is older, and not all amenities were operating (indoor hot tub was out of commission and the outdoor hot tub didn’t have working jets) the staff is lovely, food is great and the property has a lovely calm feel. They allow pets but they don’t allow them on the free shuttle (but the local cab companies do allow pets). It’s nice to park close to your room. Beds were comfortable, but the couches not so much. But they have what you need which makes showing up and just enjoying the surrounding, the reason why you’re there in the first place. Enjoy!"
"Enjoyed our stay in this downtown located hotel, so only a short walk to main streets, bars, restaurants etc. Staff were friendly when checking in - and we also received a room upgrade which was appreciated!
Had forgotten that a breakfast was included with our stay and were pleasantly surprised by the choice on offer.
We added guaranteed parking to our stay which we were glad we did - as parking in Banff is manic!
Hotel also has coin laundry which was useful - but needs better signage for people to collect their washing when done (it does say not to leave unattended - but this was ignored). There’s only two of each machine and it’s not fair to other guests who are trying to also use the machines but can’t because there is someone’s soggy washing left in it."
