"I booked a non smoking room but someone had very clearly smoked in the room recently. Reception were very good and moved me straight away, but into an accessible room, which was fine. I had booked breakfast and at the time of booking had asked for a vegan option but when I arrived, it was a breakfast bag with only dairy options. I cancelled and managed to get a refund."

"The room was excellent, and everything was how I wanted it to be (see boring stuff below). The bed was very comfortable, bordering on

maybe. Only a little occasional noise. All in all I slept really well. I was only there one night, checked in late, checked out early, so I only got a glimpse of the dining room, but as I passed by in the morning and peeked in, I really wish I'd had time for breakfast, it looked really good. So, as for the room, there was just nothing to complain...

"Having mobility issues, I spent the night in their accessible room, adjacent to reception. Fitted out appropriately, I enjoyed a soak in the bath before retiring to the comfortable bed. No issues. Even enjoyed a bit of banter with the staff."

"From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. The room was comfortable & toiletries were provided. We had an evening meal there, and food was wonderful. The staff and owner were first class, I'd definitely recommend staying there."

"The bar is very small and closes early - we were exhausted so certainly wasn’t an issue for us and the restaurant was a decent size. Meal was good, great selection of drinks, room (spitfire) was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The young lady (owners daughter?) served us in the evening and the following morning very efficiently and competently so thankyou! Breakfast was included , very tasty and perfect size. First time staying here and I will stay again "
