"Wonderful presented, charming host and great location"

"A very unique and beautiful place to stay. With lots of personal touches. Beautiful flowers in the room when we arrived and some delicious brownies which we enjoyed upon arrival. Spotlessly clean, spacious with beautiful furnishings and a lovely big comfortable bed. We had a great nights sleep as it was lovely and quiet. Shower was fantastic with some lovely toiletries and big fluffy towels. The property had all the facilities you could possibly need and more! There was a pretty outside area...

"The accommodation was quite nice although the carpets were heavily stained. I think the Gold club should stick to golf as their hospitality is shocking. We arrived early as we were meeting friends. Our intention was to arrive early, identify where we are staying and get a taxi into the near by town to meet friends and not having to worry about drinking and driving. "Set on the grounds of the once Hamblin Centre, the lodge is surrounded by a tranquil landscaped garden as pictured. An almost peaceful atmosphere but for the noise of the busy road and the railway line. The rooms are as nice as pictured. Whilst the listing says you can fit 3 people, I think it would be a real squeeze. The location is good for local sights and amenities, with a decent bus service. For me, it was nice but expensive for what it is."

"I have enjoyed my short stay at the property, newly refurbished, clean and a luxurious bathroom and lounge/dining area. Kettle would do better with a descaling though. Surrounding area very poor but overall safe."

"We absolutely loved our little cottage … a perfect place for a time away from the hubbub. Quiet & peaceful - with breakfast, lunch & aperitivi in the sheltered little front garden. Cottage well equipped for everything… cooking, relaxing - and a fabulous location."
