"The room was clean but far too small for 2 people. The bed was against the wall so one person had to climb over the other to be able to get to the bathroom."

"We stayed 1 night at this lovely, cozy and very spatious hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Not many people there, so we had lots of space. The bathrooms were well equipped (hair dryer and amenities which I loved). When leaving the pool, I passed by the bar which looked lively and fun. Next morning, we had breakfast (English breakfast is their specialty). All good. Then we had a stroll around the property. They have a large patio with tables and chairs, which is surely used in summer. It is located about a 30-minute walk from from East Grinstead station. Easy to get there. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"The room was as described, a bit like a motel arrangement, with rooms on the ground floor based around the courtyard area. Bathroom had a huge walk in shower, the water pressure was brilliant and soaps etc were lovely. Bed was comfy, ironing board, hairdryer and great coffee, tea and cookies. It was clean, spacious and comfy. Where we were disappointed was in the welcome - no information on eating, checking out or even pleasantries. We had chosen this place to stay as it was close to Gatwick, looked like a lovely pub with food, so after a long drive, we could unpack and then have a drink and a meal before settling down in our room. Having arrived at 5.30, been ‘welcomed’, we read the info in the room and headed for the bar/restaurant for some dinner. Unfortunately, service stopped at 6pm - for food on a Sunday?! This was not mentioned in any information or upon arrival. Luckily, we found the Curious Pig in the Pantry, literally 1 minute up the road who were still serving great food and were busy. Disappointed with this lack of transparency. We left at 7.30, but with lack of instruction on what to do, nobody about, no lights on - we had to leave the key in the room with the door unlocked. "

"Very nice hotel, a stone's throw from Gatwick's North Terminal. Great staff, nice accommodation (we were upgraded to a nicer room upon check in, which was a nice touch), good buffet breakfast with a varied selection of items. All in all a fail-safe option when overnighting at Gatwick between flights."

"The Hilton (Gatwick South) was everything we needed ahead of our flight the following day. It was smart, clean, the staff were exceptional, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the ability to use the covered walkway straight to Departures was an added bonus. No issues encountered and sure to stay again! Thank you Hilton (Gatwick South)!"

"The property was as the photos described and it was an absolutely stunning location. The suit of armour was really cool! Despite the suggestions below we would definitely come and stay again, the whole place was really relaxing and comfortable and felt like being in an episode of Jonathan Creek."
