"Absolutely terrible cottages you can't get any more basic. Overlooking a concrete car park even though I paid for Garden view. Refused to stay in them and made them change me to the hotel which was OK. The site is very shabby and derelict. But hotel is modern. Nothing to do for children. Wouldn't stay again."

"Good place for a couple, great position in the countryside but not too far from a pub and train station (20 minute walk). However cooking was a challenge: the kitchen is very sparsely equipped, there are 2 mugs, glasses, bowls, a few more plates, but that’s it. Barely any utensils ( unless you like mash, 2 potato mashers), and nothing you could use in the oven. "We stayed for a few days whilst visiting family in Manchester and Sheffield.The location was perfect for this! Extremely quiet but very accessible.We appreciated the space of a house, for two people (and a dog!) and also the fact that we were able to book for the exact dates of our stay.Warm (temperatures outside were around zero) and comfortable (very comfortable bed!)Very well-equipped kitchen … just missing the means to make fresh coffee!Definite recommendation from us!"
