"My sister & I celebrated my birthday by doing an overnight trip to Connecticut. We stayed at the J House Greenwich, booked a show at the Comedy Club, and had brunch at Tony’s at the J House. "Almost had to live here over 30 years ago when in college and dorms weren’t ready . It was horrifying : shag rug , more hourly stays it seemed . This time , when picking up my daughter at college she said to stay here and that it was done over . I laughed and looked at it , and said “sure “ for old times sake . Well, very impressed ! "The Blake Hotel was VERY clean and the staff were all very kind and welcoming! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The only criticism I would have is that the hotel restaurant and rooftop lounge was not open on Sunday. This left us having to Doordash 2 meals. It would be great to have a small menu of light meals (premade sandwiches, salads, etc) to have on site. Dinner at the restaurant Saturday night was very good.
