"We truly enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful and beautiful view of the water that you can walk down to. Friendly neighbors. We did not use the kitchen. There is everything you'd need if you want to cook. Also a grill available outside. As others stated, very clean. Owners were super friendly and easy to communicate with. Thoughtful owners also had extras in case you forget something or two or three :-) Lots to do in the adjacent areas within a short drive....

"The house is in a great location to visit all the attractions in the area of the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. If you like hiking there are plenty of trails nearby. The house is pleasant, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Laurie and Chip are next door if you need any assistance. The mountain views are spectacular!"

"The pictures and description are 100% accurate, but being there in person to take in the peaceful surroundings and views of nature with the family was a great experience. "The home is beautiful! The owners did an amazing job to make us feel welcomed and at home. They provided us we unexpected amenities like coffee creamer, bottle water and even a bottle of wine. We greatly appreciated the free Netflix especially since ti rained during part of our stay. The location is ideal for our weekend adventures."

"We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. "The condo is well kept, clean and comfortable. Amenaties are all there. We enjoyed our stay. One negative note: The stairs were not mentioned in our original booking. Our ages run from 56 to 74 years. Old knees and stairs .... just sayin'."
