"The property was clean, bed was comfortable and pillows were also comfortable. Staff were friendly and kind. It was in a great spot. Close to time square, Central Park, restaurant and shopping. I will stay there again."

Moxy NYC East Village

Moxy NYC East Village

10/10 Excellent
"The standout of this property is the staff. Every staff member we encountered from check in, to housekeeping, to bar & coffee shop was friendly, warm, inviting & professional. We liked the location & neighborhood. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. No fridge in the rooms but we knew that coming in. Only complaint was not great AC. Would def be a struggle in the summer. But overall, definitely worth checking out!"

"The front desk staff were wonderful, so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable at every interaction. The room was well-designed, the bed comfortable, the bathroom good-sized with plenty of towels. Housekeeping restored the room to perfection every day. The views from my room were great, and the rooftop views were spectacular. The free coffee in the morning was tasty. A very pleasant stay!"

Westgate New York Grand Central

Westgate New York Grand Central

8/10 Good
"The hotel was overall very nice and elegant. I did notice that it was recently remodeled and or working on a remodel. However, the focus seemed to be more on the entrance and lobby rather than the rooms too much. Despite this we did enjoy our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the start. There was a doorman that actually helped us in and with our luggage! The room even had new slippers I could use which I was so grateful for because I didn’t pack mine. We had the view to a back alley which I think if I wanted a different one I’d have to pay more. We stayed 3 nights for about $1200-1300 and I felt that it was a bit too expensive for what we got. There is an iron, board, blow dryer, toiletries attached such as shampoo, conditioner, body gel, and lotion, and a bar of soap, there is a nespresso type of coffee machine (not nespresso itself but similar), they don’t use trash bags you just put your trash in the bins, there is a safe lock, ice bucket, and a robe. It was kind of spacious except you can’t have the closet doors open when going in and out of the bathroom. There was a mini fridge but despite being plugged in and on it did not work right. There are plugs for usb at the bed side. On the 1st night our window had been left open which tells me there wasn’t a really thorough cleaning and unfortunately there was a lot of construction going on that was so loud through the first night and interrupted our sleep. The bartender, Nick(?) was superb! Free WiFi"

"Great location right across from Grand Central Terminal. Clean and quiet. Small room of course but two of us were fine with the two small beds."

The Shelburne Sonesta New York

The Shelburne Sonesta New York

10/10 Excellent
"I stay the Sonesta each year when I'm in town for a conference. I love the location because it's within walking distance of Grand Central Station. From there, I can hop on the train and go anywhere I want in New York. I also love that the rooms at the Sonesta are spacious and clean. I've stayed at other hotels with much smaller rooms, which quickly become cramped if you stay for several days. The staff at the Sonesta are also incredibly helpful. The Assistant Manager, Justin, helped me resolve an issue I didn't even know I had. The only thing from this recent trip that was a concern is that the elevators were not fully working. Otherwise, I look forward to my stay at the Sonesta again the next time I'm in New York."
