"The rooms are compact, yet cleverly designed to maximize space. The full-size bed and linens in my room were comfortable, and towels were a standard size and weight. The bathroom was a nicely tiled area of the room with a dark stone floor, glass wall and door, and a curtain to separate out the shower - allowing an illusion of a larger space than if there’d been a standard wall.
My room really was like a pod - yet offered plenty of storage nooks to keep it comfortable. The closet area sunk back with plenty of space for bags , shoes, hanging clothes on hangers. Plus there were coat hooks - very handy. There was a small desk with a safe under the top. The immovable desk’s chair would have fit underneath except for the positioning of the safe just an inch too low or an inches too far towards the center. Underneath the bed was a luggage space, plus a drawer for additional storage.
Adjustable blackout shutters covered the windows. A tv screen was mounted to the wall in a bit of an awkward place for watching anything, but there appeared to be audio/visual plugs for it across the room above the room phone on the desk. Near the door was the thermostat. The room heated nicely on a chilly night and I was comfortable.
Parking nearby, with validation, was affordable and and only a couple short blocks away. "
"I booked Arlo Midtown for my birthday vacation and it did not disappoint. The view from my room was beautiful. My room was nice and cozy. Every staff member I encountered was hospital and helpful. The location is very easy to navigate and gives access to many of Manhattans great tourist locations. I definitely would recommend to anyone traveling to NYC. "
