"My partner and I were gifted a weekend away at this tiny cabin for Christmas. This was the perfect retreat for two people. We are local to Lexington, KY, so it was about a 3 hour drive. I had never been to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, so I was excited for my first trip to the Smokies. The cabin did not disappoint! "Great location, quick into Pigeon Forge, or GSMNP. Super new & clean. One warning, this recent construction has very few rustic, “cabin” elements (despite the requisite black bear decor items), but it’s all super new & comfortable. Great hot tub, easily accessible on a covered porch. The road wraps around the location, but it’s very low traffic, so wasn’t a detriment to our enjoyment. "With 2 kids and a dog sometimes hotels don't cut it. This location was minutes from all the attractions and with 2 active kids I did not have to worry about telling them to calm down or be quiet. They were free to run around in the yard when we were at the cabin. Perfect that we were able to make breakfast, go see some sites and come back and relax with no one around us."

"To start it was a great check in process. All we had to do was grab our key from the door and go right in. Our host had already sent information including the Wi-Fi password to us so all we had to do was just move right in and enjoy our stay. They had a Roku in each room, nice hot tub, tennis rackets to go play tennis. All in all was an awesome place to be. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to vacation in pigeon Forge."

"The stay was great! Perfect spot! The minor complaints i have seem to be the same as other past guest's, not sure why they havent been addressed??? The Shower door needs attention as well as the tub faucet. The kitchen isnt really stocked with everything you need, so be prepared, i wasnt cooking but needed a wine opener and noticed no dish rags or towels to even do dishes other than using the dishwasher. We loved Townsend and gratefull for our experiences. Oh, on the plus side the AC works...

"Our cabin was perfect for two people & it had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully & the bed was very comfortable. Our location was great. If you are looking for a cabin with an outdoor space to hang out, this isn't the cabin for you. But, if you will be out & about all day & evening & just need a place to cook a couple meals & sleep it is great."

"My wife and I just spent the weekend in unit 165 and it was just perfect for us. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. In all honesty, we only spent probably around 30 hours in the room from Thursday until Sunday. We were out and about the rest of the time. With that being said, it was everything that was described and very good communication with the property manager. We will be back."
