"Visiting out of season on Dartmoor it was still well set up for guests. The location itself was perfect with food and drink just next door. The guys expect muddy clothes and boots after a day on the moors, and couldnt be more helpful to offer local advice. The hot tub was fantastic, offering a great chance to chill after knocking up some miles, with a lovely fire place to warm and chat after. Thanks for a great stay"

"We had a three night stay at The Millbrook. Vanessa and Cameron are lovely hosts. The Millbrook is very clean and kept to an excellent standard. Our en-suite room had a King size bed, garden view and also included a fridge with bottled water and fresh milk daily. Full English Breakfast was freshly prepared to your liking, which also included Toast, Tea, Coffee, Fruit Juice, Fresh fruit, Cereal, and Yogurts. If visiting Torguay we would definitely book here again."

"A perfect overnight stay at a beautiful historic property. Our large room was very comfortable, including the softest sheets. Lounge with open fire to relax in. Breakfast was excellent with homemade granola and local produce perfectly cooked. The drive from the main road was longer and windier than we expected and if we are able to make a return visit we will try and arrive in daylight. Also a short walk from the car park to the front drive for anyone with mobility problems. "

"Super welcoming Alex and Stacey definitely go the extra mile for there guests, and you leave as friends. Hotel is in a quiet part of town but close enough to be convenient with ample parking and the local number 12 (round robin) bus if needed stops outside the hotel."

"Such a lovely property, in a beautiful building, beautiful area, and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spotless and tidy and the beds, comfortable. We can't recommend this property enough. The only slight sadness is that the bathrooms are so small (can't be helped) and the main room doesn't serve breakfast. While it is offered in bedrooms, the common room on the ground floor is beautiful and larger, with the perfect table to invite people to greet one another and build community. "

"A great spot with stunning views across the bay towards Exmouth, also privileged to see beautiful sunrises in our seaview room. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was available if needed but not intrusive. Breakfast was more than adequate in quantity and the quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. I can't fault it at all, we had a three night stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B."

"Had a fantastic stay. The owners are very friendly and everything you could need is provided. Our room was very clean ,spacious and well equipped. Location is good with a short walk to the sea front and the town centre. Sadly we didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast as we had to head off early as we were doing a marathon but the choice looked great. We would definitely stay again when we are in teh area. "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...
