Blind choice with a very interesting deal. The room was nice, the bathroom was carefully built, with taste, quality material and efficiency. This is rare enough to be said.
Sadly, I couldn't eat at the restaurant: it was 40mn before closure time, and I was discouraged by the hostess to go there. I arrived a little bit after 10pm on a Thursday night. I tried the bar instead, in the lobby plaza. Bad wine, nothing to eat but salty pretzel despite offering a menu, and a team of servers not concerned by a new stander, woman and alone, trying to get an order.
The outside swimming pool was already closed. I didn't try the gym.
There is an impressive mural sculpture by Charles Pebworth in the lobby. This is worth the visit!
This Four Seasons location certainly lives up to the 5-star level of service that we have come to expect from all Four a seasons resorts. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable, quiet & clean. This is not a place to stay if you are on a budget, but you certainly get what you pay for. Special mention to massage therapists Ruth and Evelyn who provided us the absolute best 80 minute couples massage that we have experienced to date. First time I actually fell asleep during a treatment due to relaxation. We will be returning regularly and requesting them specifically on any future visits to the spa.
Very nice and clean hotel. Spacious, up-to-date rooms. While on the periphery of downtown Houston, the area was still within walking distance -- and the price was far more reasonable than comparable hotels in the downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
This was more than likely largest nonsuite hotel room that I've stayed in. Nice large spacious bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
We were on the 7th floor and the noise from downtown night life was still rather loud. Sheets were not clean. Had hair and what I assume was a piece of fried rice.
The room was a bit small but very nice and good enough for the night that we stayed. Even though the door handle came of of the bathroom door, the staff was good and the amenities were sufficient. I would recommend overall and I would probably stay here again.
Banking and oil giants lend their name to downtown Houston’s skyscrapers. Key attractions here include the Theater District, the Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park, and Downtown Aquarium. With more than 40 institutions, the Texas Medical Center occupies the area south of downtown. Also south of downtown are the Houston Zoo, Reliant Stadium, and the Astrodome.
