"Really great stay here. It's a lovely old hotel/pub full of character with uneven floors and small cosy rooms. Compact bathroom was spotlessly clean. Full English breakfast was very good, freshly cooked and served with a smile. We would stay again."

"Really enjoyed my stay here. I normally stay in modern hotels so this was a change for me. The town is lovely with narrow streets and old buildings so took a while to find the car park to the rear but that’s on me. From check in to check out though everything was an absolute pleasure. The young lady on the desk checked me in promptly and actually showed me to my room instead of just passing a key and having to try and find it in this quaint old building. Room was nice, fitting for the building it’s in which is old! Bar area again great with some amazing ales on tap. Breakfast was absolute quality with full on farm ingredients, no expense spared. Overall a really good experience and will definitely stay again"
