"The welcome and acomodation was excellent. I had thee chance to have kipper for breakfast, again very good. The stair up to the room were steep, and because I us my hands, I came down backwards as is usual in the these matters for me. The pub across the road the George provided excellent food and good beer. If you are a student of these matters it is entrtaining watching the chaos in the inn taking your order through to payment."

The only downside (and it was quite a downside) is that our room was above the kitchen and the door was on an automatic closer which meant it slammed every time it shut.
