Our overall stay was brilliant. The wedding went really well. All staff were very helpful but Peter went out of his way to make it go as smoothly as possible nothing was too much trouble.

We staid just one night with my family. The family room has got enough space to sleep and short staying. Thefact the hotel is close to the highway is a plus and it has a restaurant, which can be really comfortable if you do not want to drive to have dinner.

Just stayed the one night but was very impressed with the room and the condition of the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good. It’s located in a nice area of Barnstaple by the park but a short walk into town.

We had an unfortunate reason for staying at the Globe due to a family bereavement, but the lovely staff (Becca really couldn’t do enough to make sure that our party were comfortable and made us feel really welcome !) were a real plus. Food was very good and priced about right - bar and facilities ...

The hotel is set in lovely grounds, the staff are helpful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals which were both plentiful and very good value for money. Overall a very pleasant stay, we would return.

When it comes to choosing a wedding venue, hotels in Devon have much to offer in the way of specialist facilities and will take care of all of your many and varied needs on the big day. Devon is such a beautiful part of England and you'll take away memories that you'll be able to cherish forever.
Hotels in Devon are the perfect option when you're thinking of somewhere to host your celebrations and ensure that everything goes as planned. These wedding hotels take 'normal' guests too but they'll have specialised facilities for handling things like catering and receptions that are of particular interest to brides and grooms. The big day will be stressful enough without having to worry about the details and dovetailing of different areas. So let a wedding hotel in Devon take charge of the details for you and most of those concerns will be taken from your shoulders, allowing you to really enjoy the Big Day.
The on-site restaurants and bars in a wedding hotel in Devon will take care of the refreshment needs of your guests and foster that important relaxed and cheerful ambience you need for the occasion. The presence of professional chefs and catering services will also go a long way to smoothing things along. Actually, you'll be saving money by having the cucumber sandwiches, hors d'oeuvres and desserts, as well as the main meals, prepared by professionals under the one roof. This helps reduce the probability of things going horribly wrong at the last minute too, as centralised services are easier to coordinate than dispersed ones.
Once you've started making your guest list you'll probably be surprised at the numbers involved! Naturally not wanting to cause offence by leaving people off, you may well end up with hundreds of them coming to your wedding and many of your guests will need to arrange accommodation, or have it arranged for them. With Devon wedding hotels you'll have the advantage of being able to book those that do have to stay overnight into the same hotel, which will reduce their transport costs and make your own life a whole lot easier on the big day.
