Our week stay at Collaven Manor was delightful, rooms very clean and welcoming, Our breakfasts were delicious and served by a very friendly member of staff. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic break, the hosts were perfect, the facilities great and we enjoyed the most amazing food. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a great range of local and home made produce and this was all followed by a mesmerising choice of hot food which included local produce. There was cake on hand all day along with fresh tea and coffee and the hosts couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay.

I booked a room for a Monday and Tuesday night as a treat for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I wanted somewhere special and the Hotel delivered it for me. This is real gem, hidden away in the Devon countryside, at the end of long private driveway - with rather too many deep potholes, a danger to your car's tyres and suspension. Once you're there you get get a warm welcome - all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are quite spacious. and the beds are very comfortable. Dining is a speciality, and though the portions may seem small to some, they are beautifully prepared and presented, preceded by tempting amuse-bouches served...

Lovely residence, clean and comfy. All staff were cheerful, polite, helpful and attentive. My youngest was thrilled about the peacocks roaming the site. Great base to explore, a day out to Bude, only 25mins away...Thoroughly enjoyable all round.

This Guest House is very welcoming. You are greeted with a big smile and settled in quickly and smoothly. If you have any issues, there is a can do approach to helping you out. There is a lovely homely lounge for visitors to share inclusive with fridge, games, tv, open fire, and for the adventurous, maps. Lovely hotel by the sea We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.

Lovely & very accommodating hosts & very good breakfasts. Room was spotless with king size bed, TV, sea views, plenty of storage space, compact ensuite, etc. The on site parking requires some care from drivers, especially if you have a large car. Town centre, pubs, railway station & beach all a short walk down the hill.

Lovely little gem great wedding location. We just stayed for the one night but definitely recommend will be back.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and newly opened. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, though the view is not so great from the garden rooms. The lounge is a lovely area to sit and have a drink and the grounds, on hot days, are superb. The staff are excellent. The food is superb, but very expensive.

Bathroom not user friendly, and some nice biscuits in room would have been nice. Staff were brilliant and always had time to have a friendly work.

Attended a great wedding at Dartington Hall. Beautiful grounds and lovely accommodation. Food was amazing. So a great experience all round.
