We stayed 3 nights to celebrate a special birthday. The staff, hotel and restaurant were first class and went out of their way to make our experience special. We took a taxi to Zermaat from a nearby town and the hotel sent a horse and carriage to collect us. The location of the hotel was fantastic for the wonderful town and for views of the Matterhorn from our room. I have seen other reviewers describe this hotel as being similar to The Grand Budapest Hotel from the movie of the same name. Make no mistake, it is the hotel from its hay day, not when it was in decline. We have stayed in a lot of historic properties over the years, but the updating of this property has been fantastic. The rooms are modern, but not without a great deal of character preserved. I would highly recommend staying at least a couple of nights at this hotel if you are passing...

As part of our European road trip, this was a one night stop over before heading to Toulouse. Hotel was stunning, furnishings were amazing, very chic and artistic. Our room was perfect and would stay again.

Cozy atmosphere

We booked this at the very last minute after having to deviate from our ski touring plan around Saas Fee. The staff were really nice and friendly, the rooms clean and functional with nice views and the breakfast was excellent and really good value.

I was really impressed with this hotel. It was a good price, cosy and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and the shower was perfect! It is a bit of a distance from the main street but there's a bus that comes regularly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanted to stay in Verbier..

A perfectly little hide-away at the edge of Chamonix. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I left a pair of shoes in the cupboard, and they arranged to forward them on to my next hotel! We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

The experience was amazing, the view was stunning, and all the staff were friendly and kind. We loved being there this week.
