"It was amazing stay in Zermatt !! Location was perfect to see the Matterhorn and go skiing. There’s no other option for us. Rooms are spacious , clean , enough of spaces to put our clothes, and great kitchen (although without microwave). We also enjoyed fire the stove! "

"Wunderschöne Lage mit traumhafter Aussicht. Gemütlich eingerichteter Wohnraum. Die Ausstattung der Betten dürfte verbessert werden: unterschiedlich große, teilweise zu kurze bzw. zu breite Bettdecken. Kopfkissen sollten gereinigt werden. Im Doppelzimmer gab es eine äußerst dünne "Matratze". Ausleuchtung des Wegs zum unteren nur von außen zugänglichen Zimmer fehlte."

"We have just returned from a very memorable week's skiing holiday in the pretty village of Valtournenche, staying in this fabulous chalet. Tori has been incredibly patient with our various reschedulings over the last year, due to the pandemic, and very helpful with tips and suggestions for places to eat out, ski hire etc. We were a group of 14 and there was plenty of space for everyone to feel very comfortable. "Very cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available"

"Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat zwei Kamine und einen großen Garten. Es gibt große Wohnzimmer, die Schlafzimmer sind eher klein aber sehr gemütlich. In den Küchen sind alle nötigen Geräte, Geschirr etc. vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst sympathisch. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und kann das auch jedem nur Empfehlen!"

"Die Lage des Chalets ist hervorragend: ruhig, tolle Sicht, Nähe zur Seilbahn und zum Loslaufen. Man kann auf zwei Ebenen (Balkon und Veranda) draußen sitzen und genießen! Die gesamte Ausstattung des Chalets ist jedoch etwas bescheiden, allerdings ist dies auch dem wenigen Platz geschuldet. Es fehlt ein Kleiderschrank, der Fernseher steht etwas unglücklich am Fußende des Bettes, in der Küche wäre eine Kaffeekanne und ein Stopfen für das Spülbecken schön. Aber das sind nur kleine Einschränkungen:...

"The house was a bit small for a group of 7. I can't imagine 9 people. The WiFi password would not work and it seemed the LAN cable for connecting to the internet was missing. We had to use our mobile data the whole stay. Other than that, it was fine and did the trick to house our group for 2 nights."

"The views did not disappoint, having tea or coffee in the morning looking out of the window is so relaxing. I will return again."

"The house was very cozey, and convenient location. However the communication between the hostes and I were poor. As I was only told as that we need to bring our own towels and linen for bedding after we had arrive and I asked where it was!!! Very inconvenient trying to find these items in a small town, let alone after 7pm also!! Other then that, it's a lovely place to stay!!"

"Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!"
