If you are hiking the TMB take a rest day here! Beautiful place, nice little spa, and they do have a shuttle to take you into town and back to the hotel! Perfect little retreat! The staff are amazing and the breakfast was the best!
Every detail of this hotel from the herringbone cloth slippers to the Santa Maria Novella products in the bathroom have been thoughtfully considered in a way some 5 stars miss. All this and an amazing team at Reception and the Restaurant.
Had a wonderful time!! The staff is very kind and helpful! The shuttle service is very useful!! Beautiful rooms and living areas!! Will come back next year for a longer stay! No complaints!
We have just returned from a truly wonderful week staying at the Auberge. From the moment we arrived, to our very early departure, all staff members went out of their way to assist us; whether making arrangements to collect us from the bus station, to booking tickets on our behalf, or offering recommendations on places to visit. This hotel feels like a genuine family-run affair with a sensitivity to guests needs without being intrusive.
The hotel itself is well located on the outskirts of the busier resort of Courmayeur. It has a quaint charm about it, with cosy places to snuggle by the fire and a well-designed pool and spa. The rooms are presented to a high standard with plenty of space to hang clothes and to sit and soak up the views. Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold options, and staff were willing to accommodate our dietary needs, with nothing being too much trouble (vegetarian).
The on-call shuttle bus to Courmayeur and the various ski lifts was a real bonus and we took much enjoyment in the stories/conversations we had with the staff throughout our trips. The ease of distance to Mont Blanc cable car was a particular highlight.
My only hesitation in recommending this property is that it will be fully-booked when we try and return!!!! Wonderful, tranquil and restorative hotel and experience. Thank you for making our visit so special and for answering our many questions. We will visit again with family and friends.

Beautiful place. Absolutely gorgeous interiors and the scenery is breathtaking too. The food and service at the restaurant are also very good.
My only complaint was not having an air conditioner in the room as it got very hot when we were there. Apparently some rooms do have A/C but the hotel was fully booked so they could not transfer us to another room. However, the staff did everything that they can to make us comfortable. They gave us not one but two fans to use in the room which helped tremendously.
Can’t praise the staff enough. Everyone that we dealt with was extremely kind, professional and helpful with every single question we had.
We were honeymooning for 5 days and we had the most incredible experience. Such friendly and hospitable staff, beautiful food, the best breakfast buffet I’ve seen and a truly beautiful hotel and location with great access to local village, town and the mountains. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to visit again.
We specifically went and stayed at Auberge de la Maison to visit the Skyway Monte Bianco, and we were pleasantly surprised at the facilities at the hotel.
It is very quaint and ski lodge style, with many nooks and crannies to sit and soak up the atmosphere, and windows that look onto the alps.
The day spa area with steam room, sauna, indoor/outdoor spa pool is gorgeous, with the outdoor pool area looking directly onto snow covered peaks with the sun setting behind them. For us coming from a place that gets no snow, it was a very unique and lovely experience sitting in a spa pool looking at a snow covered mountain.
The staff were nice, the room was nice and roomy, although the bathroom was a bit of a challenge in that the sloped ceiling in the shower was a bit of a head bumping hazard, and the whole bidet thing, which takes up valuable bathroom space is strange to us Australians.
My only complaint with the hotel is that for a hotel that I considered to be quite expensive, breakfast was not included in the rate, unlike most of the hotels we have stayed at in Italy. We could have breakfast at the hotel for a cost of €15 per person per day extra, which we did not indulge.
That was a minor inconvenience in the scheme of things, but just a small bugbear.
